This hotel bills itself as a 4-Star hotel. By Mexican standards, perhaps, but by Canadian/American standards, Motel 6 is seriously better than this. There's free wifi but it's irritatingly slow and the connection even drops even though I've got the full 3 bars on my iPhone. It's January and even though the lows are around 10 celsius, it gets really...

Non-existent wifi internet service. Noisy......TV channels bad. No US major channels and only about 2 English speaking channels. Front desk clerks pretty clueless. Key card system terrible. Have had to replace 2 or 3 times in a visit. Holes in lamp shades. Great location and looked like at one time a nice hotel. Have let the place deteriorate.

Nice location within walking distance to US Consulate and many eateries. Safe, clean, efficient staff and transportation always out front or back. Nice Resturant too! Very pleasant stay and in a safe, quiet and with in a 100 peso taxi ride(10 mins) to el centro/ fairly priced and contrary to some past reviews, the bathroom was modern and clean. And...

Where to start with the negatives of a hotel that bills itself as 4-star? Seriously? Ok, walls so thin it was like the neighbors were in my bed. They partied for a long time do if they had been in my bed I could have kicked them out. I could hear every single word. Non-existent Internet even though they said...

I just got back from a trip to Guadalajara, had placed to stay with family but because I was traveling with 2 kids and one was not doing well with the heat (we are from the pacific NW) we moved to a hotel. Unfortunately there was a big convention and not many hotels had availability. These were some of the...

I booked this hotel as a short stay heading toads another city on vacation. When I pulled up I was briefly pleased as the entrance was beautiful. However when I got to the room it was ugly, uncomfortable, and I did not feel safe because the door was flimsy, left a gap and no deadlock. I didn't get much sleep...

The rooms where dirty, just 1 plug, internet service was very bad. Hallways were very muggy and the carpet in the rooms was dirty. Bed was very uncomfortable, and the cleanness of the room spike my allergies.

Location is absolutely great, very central, in my favourite part of Guadalajara where you can find many beautiful small restaurants, cafes and bars. Night life is great with various concerts and shows on the street. Unfortunately hotel is really old and needs renovations. Horrible amenities and most of all the bathroom. Do not recommend having breakfast at the hotel dining...

So, I needed a hotel that was close to the U.S. embassy, that was the only thing this hotel had in favor. Hotel needs a serious paint job on the outside. The water in the showe was either really hot or really cold, you have to adjust it for several minutes to be tolerable. Once in the shower you had...

I like staying there a lot because of the location. Center of the city, Chapultepec is very near, cafe Providencia (which is half a block away) is the best breakfast spot in town. The rooms of Laffayette are a little gloomy though, the internet connection is average and strongly depends on the location of your suite. The windows in the...
