We traveled to Guadalajara last month and stayed at the Morales Hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown within walking distance of all the great tourist sites and very good restaurants (the famous and excellent "La Chata" is a couple of blocks away) and it is very charming. It was an excellent value for...

I arranged airport pick up with the hotel and provided my flight details. The hotel was aware of my arrival time, but my room wasn't ready at regular check-in time. A lady at the front desk said "20 minutes" and kept me waiting at the lobby, but after 30 minutes, no sign that my room was ready. I went to...

My wife and I just stayed seven nights at the Hotel Morales in the historic center of Guadalajara. Seldom does one's lodging rate as the highlight of a trip, but this is the second time when, for us, a hotel in Mexico was so wonderful that it was near the top of our favorite things. (The first time was at...

Beautiful, traditional colonial style hotel, it has a good location to see the historic center of Gudalajara. Well served by taxis, good service from the reception staff and over all the hotel grounds, good room, good breakfast. The rate was really good.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was a good price and centrally located. The decor and details were exquisite. I did not like that my room window was looking into a lobby, it was a little claustrophobic for me. I suggest recommending a room with a window facing outdoors. The pool was ok, it was under construction at the...
