We stayed at this hotel for four nights in late January during a recent trip to Guadalajara. I have traveled to 38 countries and stayed in numerous hotels both large and small. This hotel and the artwork here is unique. The customer service is excellent. The manager is willing to listen and make improvements. But the property is composed of multiple towers that don't interconnect causing quite a bit of confusion for someone staying here for the first time. This could have been avoided by the reception staff by giving a layout map and clear instructions on how to go from one tower to the other. The safe deposit box in the room was very old and did not work. A new one was brought in but did not open even after several tries and had to be opened by the staff. We changed the room for a window and the microwave was not working. Another one had to be brought in. The microwaves in all the rooms are located on top of the refrigerator which is too high for most people. The rooms are spacious. The customer service is excellent and nobody complained about delivering what we asked for. They had no information on Covid-19 testing resources and we spent a lot of time going around town to find one. There is a complete listing of Covid-19 testing sites in Mexico at the US Embassy website. I spent some time talking to the manager about theses deficiencies and he was willing to listen and seemed inclined to make some changes. But the property is old and I am not sure if the owners are willing to make the necessary investments. The breakfast was good with good service. In spite of the deficiencies we enjoyed our stay.…
I stayed in this suites a lot of times, definitely is my favorite in the whole very, because of the art, the great service, also they have a great suites, 100% reliable. I will prefer this option first
Hotel looks very presentable and rooms were nice, clean and relatively modern but the hotel is covered, and I mean literally every square metre, in sculptures and artwork. It creates a strange vibe and even a slightly eery vibe after dark. The pool area is nice enough, gym is OK and breakfast was OK but overall we felt like we probably wouldn’t have stayed here unless it was close to Zapopan bus station as it was a bit too eccentric for our liking.
Cleanliness, location, service, and amenities. I really enjoyed the time I spent at the hotel. Everything they offer, overpass my expectations. If I go back to Guadalajara, for sure I will stay at this hotel. I loved it
The rooms look a bit tired and cold. I noticed that the mattresses don't have any protector, which is kind us unhygienic. The rooms also have some strange features, such as faux hardwood floors on the washrooms (which, of course, doesn't look in the greatest condition because they were damaged by the water that comes from the shower). The rooms I was in barely had any view and were not very bright. In general, it fell like an unwelcoming place and in need of renovations. Breakfast was ok, nothing really memorable.
