We spent a three day weekend in Guadalajara and were so pleased with Casa Venezuela. The home is lovely and so comfy, we felt like we had our own mini-mansion in Mexico. The room (we booked the studio with king bed) was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. The common areas are cozy and furnished so nicely...

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a week. The hosts were accommodating beyond my wildest expectations. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed and help me find places and things in the city and beyond. They even accompanied me on some errands to make sure I figured everything out! The bed and breakfast...

Wow! What a tremendous experience we had. We literally felt like we were at home. George and Gabriel the owners treated us like family. George went out of his way to not only give us directions around the city but actually accompanied my wife and I to the places where we could either catch a cab or bus. The food...

Casa Venezuela exceeded our expectations and is by far the best Bed & Breakfast we’ve ever been to. My wife, our grown daughter and myself were enchanted with the beauty and uniqueness of the home. The service is very friendly, personable, prompt and efficient. The owner was very helpful with maps, directions, restaurant suggestions, and recommendations for cultural sites. The...

I recently spent 4 nights at the Casa Venezuela when I traveled to Guadalajara for work, and I can safely say that the experience elevated a memorable, enjoyable trip to the other side of extraordinary. The place is lovely, clean, and comfortable, fully decorated with Mexican furnishings and local art that makes the stay entirely immersive. The hosts George and...

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Mexico. We flew into Guadalajara and spent 3 days at the bed & breakfast Casa Venezuala. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. George is originally from the states and had been in the hotel industry. His partner, Gabrielle, is a native of Mexico. We arrived at a very busy time for...

We've just returned from a 5 day stay in Guadalajara at the Casa Venezuela. The facility is top notch in every respect - beautiful, serene environment, fine linens, and incredible hospitality. George and Gabriel are absolutely the best hosts. We felt that we were more than guests. It was as though we were living there. George went out of his...

We just returned from 4 nights at the conveniently located Casa Venezuela near the historic center of Guadalajara. George is the most thoughtful & amazing host (his partner Gabrielle was very helpful, but more in the background). George simply enjoyed making us comfortable, relaxed, happy, and well-fed! From the moment we arrived, he thoughtfully looked after us, called us cabs,...

What else can I say about the property and the management - it was as flawless as described in all of the other reviews. If you're coming to visit Guadalajara - this is the place you want. My wife and I were thinking about a move to GDLR with our two small kids and were more than a little apprehensive...

“Personally, I prefer the "front room" which is the only room (I believe) with a king-sized bed. You feel like you have your own separate apartment, yet you're still connected to the B&B.”
