We spent one night in Casa Dionisio for our New Year's eve. The rooms are well-kept, clean, large and very nicely decorated. The views of the rooftop terrace are simply fantastic. Good breakfast. Lovely location, quality to price ratio is good value. One bit of a hassle is complicated communication, you need to be there for exact time to get...

I keep "wowwww" whilst the staff lead us to our room and the terrace. This is such a beautiful hotel and I think it should be in top range in Guanajuato. Staff are friendly and helpful. The view from our room is spectacular in both day and night time!! Also the terraces we had breakfast... Highly recommended this to all!!!...

Very good design of the hotel. Comfortable room and bed. From the terrace the view is fantastic and the wind is refreshing. Same view as from the room. Bano is large and spoiling. Breakfast is basic but good. We added some ingredients we purchased as per our taste Relaxing stay.

Stayed at the sol y luna suite and i must say the hotel is amazing. A 4 room hotel only, very private and secluded, with charming decor and detail. The 3 of us travelling shared two rooms, and no complaints. Wifi, breakfast, the terrace, etc. Everything is taken care of, and staff is always available to help. The views are...

This one-of-a-kind hotel is located a climb up the hill, but boy, does the view from the terrace compensate! If needed, the baggage is taken care of by the staff upon arrival - if the airline doesn't misplace it, that is. The manager Adriana was most helpful in recovering it and took her time ringing through the various "helplines" we...

We stayed in the Rana, or Frog room, for 2 nights. As we had no mobile phone with us, and were travelling by bus, we could not give them an arrival time, so had to find the place ourselves. We used the map provided and found it without too much bother. The steps are steep though, especially with 2 heavy...

I've traveled to over 45 countries. Had insane views in Positano, Taj Mahal view in India, San Sebastian in Spain....if you stay in the " frog " room in this hotel, your jaw will drop. Guanajuato itself is a real colonial gem ( hands down, my favorite city in Mexico). First, you walk through gorgeous colonial streets from the back...

What a delightful experience -- and - The journey is part of the experience. Yes -- steep steps but worth the effort. Centrally located for convenience to Jardin Union, Teatro Juarez, and the bustle of El Centro, Guanajuato. Very possibly, the best vistas in the city. Guests may enjoy the spacious upstairs patio, yet the views of the city from...

This hotel may be nice, but beware of their cancellation policy, which varies from site to site and isn't obvious on some. We booked a week's stay through Booking.com, and was charged. (Nearly $800) When we arrived at the US airport to fly to Guanajuato, we learned that our flight and 100's of others were cancelled due to tornados in...

Yes, this B&B is a ways up the hillside; at least 100 steps, some very steep ones. One trip, thank goodness, you only have to do once with a suitcase. Location is close to center and Teatro. Views are great sunrise and sunset. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom has separate toilet area. The cupboard, where hairdryer was...
