The location is perfect for walking tours of Guanajuato and just enough away from the main plaza and its noise and crowds to be comfortable. Clean, cool, with high ceilings, interesting room layout with a mezzanine, and SUPER comfortable beds. We loved this simple inn. Will return!

Easily reached by taxi from leon airport ( buy your taxi ticket at the counter inside) this ancient building has every modern necessity including attentive and helpful staff and large rooms. The world outside the front door is full of surprises- food , music ,souvenirs, numerous churches and a huge market.

Nice room but expensive. No parking available. Decent breakfast Don't eat in the restaurants nearby, they are expensive and BAD!! The hotel is well located, we were in the room just beside guests restroom but we weren't able to hear the noises outside. Personnel is kind and eager to help and recommended good tours

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel, because of a wedding. We initially booked a room at another hotel, but were informed a week upfront that we were upgraded to La Casona de Don Lucas due to renovating activities. The room consisted out of 2 rooms actually + a bathroom, which were quite spacious. The hotel is located in...

If you're looking to be in the heart of the action, the location is perfect. Close enough to the centre to be able to walk everywhere and yet no problems with noise at night (with the obvious exception of El Día de la Independencia!). The accommodation choices are wonderfully flexible and our room (one double and two singles) had a...

La Casona de Don Lucas, its a good place to stay, its clean, beauty, the place remains the old Mexican fincas (big houses) .We stay in the room "Del verdadero sentido de las cosas", it has an amazing view of the street and the main church its quite pretty. There were two things that I don't like it; one because...

The pluses are true but in our case they were very sleazy in refusing to issue a refund for one night that we had cancelled, by directly calling them within the time limit. Fortunately, hotels.com came through with a partial refund.

Stayed for only 1 night - how unfortunate for us because this place in a small town in the middle of nowhere was Amazing!!! Easily my favorite hotel from this trip (we also went to Guadalajara & Puerto Vallarta) We stayed at the "de la buenaventura" room which was huge! 2 floors with 3 big beds, a dining table &...

We went for Holy Week and the city was packed. One of the things I enjoyed most about the hotel is that even though outside was a mob inside it felt like you were away from it all.. The hotel is right in the center so the location is excellent. The rooms are nice decorated and clean. They come with...

Very well located in the Historic Center of Guanajuato. Walking distance to the main square, theater and main restaurants. Spacious. Just make sure you are away from the lobby, as the noise can be a bit loud.
