My husband and I stayed here for four nights and enjoyed our stay but there are a few things to consider carefully. Starting with the positive, let me say that the staff work hard to be accommodating and to keep the place running very smoothly. We found the front desk help to be especially friendly and efficient. The place itself...

Gorgeous hotel very art oriented. Located a few steps from the cathedral and Diego Riveras museum. Love the location. Rooms are big. Rooms are very clean. Super nice employees. Only downsides to this hotel, are they don't have an elevator, rooms are really cramped closed to each other and it's like a maze making it hard to find you room.

My husband and are actually still here as write this review . We have been here a few days now and just love it here. We are only about 5 minute walk to the centre of everything . This hotel is such a quaint place with all the different nooks and corners . I have to say though, I have...

lots of stairs, great architecture and artwork. Breakfast good, staff attentive. Can be noisy if late night arrivals are loud and bang doors. Wifi everywhere, even on roof deck, which is hardly utilized..

This hotel has a really good position as it is close to Guanajuato center, which is easily reachable by one minute walk. The inside of the hotel is cute with a big courtyard where you can have some rest and eat your breakfast but has numerous stairs leading to the rooms and no elevator (but luckily they are building it!)....

As others have stated, the hotel is beautiful and the vista from the rooftop terrace is gorgeous. It is also well located, which is why I didn't give it 1/5. That said, the most important thing for me in a hotel is comfort and good sleep. Total fail in those respects. My room was close to the reception and I...

Three of us, a married couple and a single friend, stayed in the 2-bedroom suite in December 2016. Its location was perfect, just a short interesting walk to the main plaza and lot of restaurants and shops. The suite was very comfortable and even had a kitchenette, which we didn't use as we only stayed here one night. Our luggage...

The hotel is beautiful for sure. Really quaint in that there rooms are tucked away into a multiple small nooks connected by small stairways heading in all directions. One can easily get lost here. Almost takes on the characteristic of the city it is in - a mining city. The breakfast is a decent buffet breakfast. We were pleased with...

This trip was amazing, need to come back and visit! This hotel was clean, employees were super helpful and nice! Definitely coming back and staying here. Everything was walking distance. The restaurant next door was good if you're craving pasta and very helpful, letting us know what to do and where to go!

El Meson de los Poetas is a gorgeous hotel, well maintained with lovely art-filled common areas and attractive comfortable rooms. It is conveniently located on a quiet street in the historic center of the city, just five minutes’ walk to the Jardin or the Cathedral. The staff is very friendly and helped by arranging transportation and offering advice about local...
