We really enjoyed this hotel. Had a large room (tight bathroom) overlooking the plaza. Very romantic to listen to music from your balcony. Had the feel of an older Mexico. Perfect location. Worse thing about room (hotel?), on television, only english speaking channel was FOX news, horrific choice. We drove there and parking was convenient, under hotel.

I had the chance to stay at Posada Santa Fe when we went to Guanajuato during Mexican Independence day. A colleague had booked rooms in advance, and we did not have any trouble in checking in. The rooms and amenities were basic, and not what you would expect from a rated star hotel. Cleanliness was little wanting, as I saw...

The Posada Santa fe Hotel is in a great location , we got room 27 on the first floor that was far from clean ,dirty carpet , dirty ceiling and fan. The breakfast outside in front of the park was ok but the coffee was of poor quality. We believe the waiter had a bad morning because everything we asked...

As part of a driving trip with Mexican friends, we stayed 2 nights at Hotel Posada Santa Fe. We had some difficulty finding the hotel but once we got on the right track there were signs which lead us to the rear portal where we found help in parking and unloading. The front of the hotel is on the square...

If I had read the reviews below I never would have stayed here, but we drove into Guanajuato reasonably late and this place looked good from a quick check of the website. We got the cheapest rooms, which had no air conditioning, and were out the back of the hotel. They overlooked a street which turned out to be really...

We stayed four nights here in September 2010, we booked it because it was right on the square, offered a suite for about $1300 pesos per night that had a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. The room was a suite in that it had a couch and chair in a windowless room that was connected to the bedroom, there...

The room was tiny, and they offer a full not queen bed. No Air conditioning!! They charged me 250 pesos extra when they saw I was with another person. They asked me late at night when I was going up with another person if the lady would be staying the night with me. I thought it was very inappropriate to...

We stayed in Room 124 in late January. The location is excellent as you can walk everywhere in Guanajuato. There were 3 single beds in a large room. Everything was clean although showing signs of age. Our room was on the second floor at the back and was very quiet. Breakfast was included every morning and you got to choose...
