Hotel is even more than we expected. Large rooms with great appointments, beams, ancient stone walls, very good bathroom, and nice and helpful staff. Large, well working shower. So far Patti and Alishya (sp ?) Have been very helpful to us non-Spanish speakers. Location is perfect to main parts of Centro city. The hotel is a very old bakery that...

This is a perfectly situated small hotel in the heart of Guanajuato. The first room we were shown was lovely, but the bed was rather small so we asked to see an alternative. We settled on Los Jilgueros (extra charge of 600mxn per night), which is on the top floor with great views across the city. The room was large,...

We stayed here 3 lovely nights. The building has been updated in a thoughtful and tasteful way. The front desk staff was always welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right by the middle of everything but not immersed. Our room was on the interior on a lower level but had a sweet balcony on the courtyard that let...

I absolutely love going to Guanajuato and staying in the older hotels. The structure of the properties always amazes me. Can't wait to return again. The location is walking distance from many restaurants & the weather is always awesome. The staff was very helpful as well

I spent 3 nights here in a room on the bottom floor. I don't know what the rooms were like upstairs, but given that people follow the mariachi bands around singing until the wee hours of the night, I was glad to have a basement room. The staff was so very helpful and kind and the rooms were very comfortable...

I spent a four days stay with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. The hotel was just for us and the staff was friendly the whole time. The decoration is beautiful and the view is really nice. Besides the location was great, not to far from the centre :)

Staff were friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and included a small balcony on the street side with a table and chairs. The hotel and the room were thoughtfully decorated with local crafts, including beautiful tile work in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and was served in the basement area of the old building. The location was in a quiet...

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. This hospitality and decor is Mexican style, and the management is helpful and gracious. I visited here several years ago (that choice was not on the review menu for time of visit.) There is a basic breakfast and a nice lobby. Location is a short walk to many restaurants. Highly recommended.

This hotel was beautiful! Decorated with colonial details, is hotel gave a beautiful Mexican feel with excellent service. I can't imagine a better stay in Guanajuato. The charming hotel had rooms named by traditional Mexican things such as swallows. The staff was outstanding in anticipating our needs.
