Had a lovely time staying in a private room in this hostel, mainly because the owners were so friendly and welcoming. (E.g. When I arrived Dante started out by offering me fruit and a cold drink before I even paid for my room) Breakfast each morning was something tasty and nutritious served in a really friendly, cheerful atmosphere. The building...

We stayed here for one night on our recent travels. We were greeted by the owner (Dante) who was helpful & got us into our room nicely - because they had availability, he even let us choose which room we wanted which was a nice touch! Dante was helpful with maps/local tips & set us on our way. He also...

La Casa de Dante is exactly as described. The welcome is so warm that even after a short 2 day stay we felt touched by the warmth of the family especially Irene the mum. Never had such good breakfasts so different tasty and well presented. Would recommend. Steps were steep but we knew before we got there however on arrival...

The whole family at La Casa de Dante made us feel so at home. We came with a group of four and were split across two rooms, both on the top floor of the establishment. This meant that we had a great view of the town. The hotel itself is very indie, with the top rooms locking with a lock...

What a treat it was staying at La Casa de Dante - without doubt, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in... and I've stayed in a lot! The rooms are tastefully decorated in a traditional Mexican style, all areas are kept spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well-stocked with all utensils and crockery needed, the rooftop terrace has incredible...

La Casa de Dante has to be a top pick in Guanajuato. Easily one of the best hostels we stayed at in ten weeks travelling Mexico. The service is excellent, breakfasts delicious, view is great and rooms/beds exquisite. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here, and especially enjoyed the lively discussions every morning with the Señora who prepares...

It was an amazing hostel for a great price! I thoroughly loved my two night stay in La Casa de Dante. Dante and his staff were really friendly and always ready to help. I had a fantastic view from the bedside of my dorm. The balcony has an amazing view of the city. The place is clean, well kept, and...

I stayed at Casa de Dante while I was attending a math conference in Guanajuato. This is an excellent family run hostel that I would surely recommend. The family is extremely kind and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They put hand made flags of your country in the dining hall, they server delicious and...

La Casa del Dante is an amazing place built just outside Guanajuato. The place is well maintained, very nice staff for a hostel, from the balcony we had a great view. Dante is super nice and very helpful. If you don't mind walking up a few steps to the hostel it will definitely be worth it.

Staying in this hostel in Guanajuato for two nights was a great experience. The single room I booked was excellent with great views and the breakfast, freshly prepared by a lovely Mexican grandma every morning, was simply wonderful. The clean and colorful interior with many common spaces was very nice and allows for easy interaction. This place exceeds hostel standards...
