very central, very safe, lovely helpful staff, spacious rooms with everything you need. This is a good hotel in the historical center next to the Almeda Park and very close to Hidalgo metro. The Diego Rivera is also literally minutes away. The dancing in the park was such fun and the markets full of great crafts and lovely food stalls....

Besides there being no warmth in welcoming us yesterday, there appears to be no maid service, no heat and the water is lukewarm. The bed is okay at best but really very uncomfortable. Of countless places that I have stayed around the world, this place ranks almost at the bottom. The wifi also goes out constantly so that you have...

We (a couple in our 60s) were very happy to stay at Avilla. Sure, the place isn't the Hilton but it's modestly-priced, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and in a great position, as others have mentioned. It made things very easy to be able to stroll up to Bellas Artes & Zocalo & various other spots of interest & activity. The staff are...

If you're considering booking, this hotel and are a female single traveller, DON"T!! I like to think that I prepare carefully for my trips, as I am a woman over 60, requiring a cane, and like to feel safe and secure where I am staying. The problems started here when I tried to check in. I had upgraded to a...

This was a great hotel to stay at! We went in September and were very pleased with how it turned out. The hotel has a great location next to the metro. It is a little noisy, but we didn't have a problem with that. It has really good security. A security guard has to open the door for anyone to...

I stayed here last November (2014) I am going back in a few weeks and made sure I got this place again for the entire stay. The location is excellent, literally 1/2 block from The Metro, and plenty of stores and places to almost eat literally outside the door. The staff is great, housekeeping especially and the entire staff really...

We stayed for 2 nigths and were very pleased. Apartments are not high class, but have everything you need. TV is a small one in the bedroom ( senior suites with 2 beds) and internet is sometimes slow, but ok. You are 5 min from Belles Artes, MB linea 4 to and from the airport is very near. It`s really...

We stayed in a suite that takes four people. We were a group of five adults. The sofa was converted into a bed at night. The apartment was spacious and nice. The kitchen amenities were adequate for our requirement. The hot water supply was excellent and available round the clock. The hotel staff were all very courteous and helpful, although...

Due to a stolen passport I had to go up to Portsmouth NH for an 8am appt to get an emergency passport. To do this I had to stay over in Boston on Sunday nite. I booked a last minute room in a 5 star hotel which was basically pleasing until I dropped an earring and had to go under...
