Hotel Remada Reforma Mexico City - We booked a top quality room in the Remada Reforma in Mexico City six months in advance. 5 days before our departure for Mexico we were informed by email that 'due to an act of God' the hotel could not honour our reservation but could offer us the same quality accommodation nearby. I replied...

Clean, well designed, moderately priced, good breakfast for $8.00. Would have preferred to be closer to Chapultepec Park. Nice eatery one block away called Toks; good meal for under $10.00. We walked or used public transportation but did notice a parking garage across the street from hotel. Slightly off the beaten path and consequently a little on the quiet side.

PRICE There is no doubt price is what drives many customers to this hotel but I would recommend doing a bit more research before going just because of price. SLEEP QUALITY At least in the room we stayed, we could hear EVERYTHING going on...same floor, top floor, bottom floor, etc...I understand many people just go to sleep at the hotel...

Stayed here in August 2013 with with and 3 kids. Nice and clean hotel, great friendly staff. Can't go wrong for the price but keep the following in mind: - The lobby smells of sewer most of the time, but not in our room. - Hotel is located in then 'tolerance zone' meaning that there are TONS of prostitutes around...

Centrally located. Walking distance to downtown, museums, churches of all denominations, local markets and flea markets. Most taxi drivers do not recognize the address. You have to mention the cab driver that it is located near the church of San Judas Tadeo. Then they know the place. The Avenue is several miles long and changes name three times. Puente de...

The pungent smell of sewer woke me up in the morning. We where 3 from the company in this hotel. Rooms on different floors, all with the same problem. Seems it's a sewer line which vents from nearby El Caballito sculpture square. Not up to Ramada standards. Management should visit. Old tube tv. Hotel internet difficult to access (dchp server...

I do not recommend this hotel. Hotel totally worth the money, sorry I did not take on a little more expensive hotel in the center. 1) Transfer for a fee, not at all. In response to a letter about the transfer, we were told that he was not and advised to take a taxi at the airport, thanks of course,...

I was charged a different rate at check-out then mentioned to me at check-in. This is really the first time this happens to me and I think it's really unfair. One I asked to speak to the manager about this mistake, the staff at the front desk was not willing to cooperate. Really unprofessional. I wouldn't go back to this...

Overall was good. Near to most of the downtown attractions, but needs improvements in the carpets. I was with allergy the whole week and our A/C wasn't work properly. I reported the problem twice and then they changed us to another room. The taxi driver Antonio was very nice with us and we felt secure. Walking in the nights us...

Decent hotel, nice foyer and entrance, first room dark, moved to 2nd room better.. website says they give you breakfast with your day's rental, its actually continental coffee, toast, 1 kind of fruit. so its not breakfast...I argued with them about this and they let me have buffet daily for 65.00 pesos..about 5dlls. daily. Buffet was great though, fresh, good...
