The hotel is good value for money, but nothing special- we didn't eat in the restauraunt! Nice old style interiors. We had great trouble getting to sleep because of the traffic outside. The staff spoke good English and were helpful in meeting our needs. The rooms were clean and very spacious.

The hotel looked very pretty inside! The rooms are standard, good value for money, but nothing really special about the place. We didn't eat in the restaurant. The room was facing the Reforma, and therefore had VERY bad troubles getting to sleep at night as the traffic outside was so loud! The rooms were cleaned to a average standard and... More

I loved this hotel! The public areas were gorgeous with over-the-top flowers at reception. The service was excellent and I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. My room was large (Superior King Room) with a dressing room, and, important if you smoke, a balcony. When I travelled in early March I paid only $85 Cdn a night,... More

You can see glimpses of this grand hotel's past splendor, but even that is rapidly fading. If only it was kept up, but the carpets need changing, the lighting is very dated, even the glass frames showing the history of it's former glory displnly. ayed in the cafeteria are cracked and faded. This must have been a posh place once,... More

Struggled to find anything positive with this hotel. Rude and unhelpful staff. Room was very average and sink kept blocking up. Advertised room service but when called to order got no response, were put on hold and then hung up on, repeatedly.

The hotel isn't perfect , but for $60 a night it more than exceeded my expectations. The rooms were big and clean with a big tub in the bathroom. My room faced the street so the view was excellent, but like others said it was a little noisy (did not bother me). I was on the second floor and the... More
