When I arrived with my already booked and confirmed copy of my payment, the people working at the front desk, did not know what I was talking about, with no nice manners they told me that they had no report that all about my reservation or even worse about my payment. To get a room I had to leave an... More

Stayed in this hotel for two month because I had to. The hotel I imagine was really nice in the 90ies. Since then they haven't done much to renovate or renew stuff. Air conditioning and the safes are just working in some selected rooms (even though every room has them in them. They are just not working ...). The rooms... More

The rooms were very nice and very clean. Pricing is fair. The staff are friendly and helpful. The décor is nice. Located conveniently near the airport and in a fairly nice area. I am always comfortable staying there any time I am in the city.

We stayed four nights at the Real del Sur and will return to stay again. The Real del Sur is a good choice in a part of Mexico City that is home to only a few hotels. The RdS is an older hotel. It has many amenities (breakfast room, restaurant, beauty salon, travel agency, banquet halls, lobby bar, disco, underground... More

Can someone take this terrible band off stage? Rooms circling the lobby is terrible terrible idea. Bring your ear plugs. Or wait, simply dont visit real del sur. Room is big enough to bring the band and keep them locked inside for gods sake, i think it would be worth the price of booking additional room.

Looks like they have continued to improve over the last couple years. Stayed here in 2010, was satisfied with my stay but very impressed this time around. Room I had was spacious and very clean, ate several meals at the restaurant and enjoyed the service and selection. The lady at the front desk was very courteous when I checked out,... More

Recently my wife and I travelled to Mexico City for a convention downtown. We saw Real del Sur from one of the main highways in the city. Typically I prefer to stay closer to downtown but with the new second level freeway, the traffic was nonexistent! The atmosphere and service were fantastic, we really enjoyed the breakfasts and snacks. The... More

The dining room was nice enough. The Lobby Bar was empty and the atmosphere was cold. The room was mediocre. I had hoped there was heat, but only air conditioning. The TV had very few channels, and poor reception. The price was decent, but I won't stay there again.

The hotel had an event in the middle of the hotel lobby. All rooms circle the lobby. They had a live band with singing, until 2 am, or later. ( I am writing this review because i am unable to sleep.) When we complained about not being able to sleep. The hotel is locate between two very busystreets so syreet... More

Staying in Coyoacan

Neighbourhood Profile
Coyoacan
Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”) you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will transport you back to the colonial era thanks to the brick and stone details of the area. Iconic writers such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes and all kinds of traditional 'antojitos' are a must try. Restaurants and cafés throughout its peaceful paved streets contain traditional but unique murals and decorations, where one can enjoy a mezcal at noon or the best churros with a cup of coffee.
