These are corporate apartments / suites. They are perhaps a little dated in style, but unlike most places like this, it is not impersonal. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are cleaner thoroughly every day and the breakfast is good (but no cooked food). They do a dinner in the evening which is far from haute cuisine but...

Obelisk Residential is located next to Lincoln Park in the Polanco area of Mexico City. You are in the heart of the restaurant, and upscale shopping and a half block from Reforma Ave. which takes you by bus to the zona rosa, museums, and the business district as well as the historic center. The suites are spacious, have a small...

If you get a rate in any currency other than Mexican Peso, ask them to give you a rate in Pesos. At payment time, they only accept Pesos (including cash and creditcards) and they themselves decide what the exchange rate is, and (guess what) their rate is such that they make an extra 5-10% off of you. Also, the safe...

In a lovely street, close to shops and restaurants. Our suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfasts were adequate - the best fresh fruit. The bathroom was quite small - interesting sliding doors. The staff were very friendly but couldn't tell us where the closest mail box was. A pleasant stay non the less.

they book the rooms as junior suites and when you get there they say that they have "junior room", which must be a new category, and however it is just a regular room, with a very small bathroom, no air conditioning, very noisy, lousy internet signal and a poor breakfast.

The location of Obelisk Suites is fantastic, in the middle of beautiful Polanco and walking distance from several business centers and great restaurants and shopping. The hotel looks like an old traditional Mexican house (which I’m pretty sure it was). However, the staff is just fair, the rooms have no air conditioning and are extremely noise – you can hear...

I'll keep this short: avoid the 3rd floor. I was placed in this hotel by my employer. My stay was for a week. I was assigned a junior suite at the 3rd floor. Big mistake: the rooms have no AC (unbelievable given the rate). Now this is Mexico City; the weather is fairly pleasant all year long. That said, the...

Where to start... Rooms are small, I "upgraded" to have a room size comparable to a small holiday inn. Upgraded comes with a small fridge (and a coffee maker? Big whoop). The bed is the most uncomfortable stuff ever. I got a king size... Well, is actually 2 twins together... That is sad. The Halls are noisy, you can hear...
