Galeria Plaza Reforma offers a lively atmosphere that many guests enjoy, despite the intrusion of loud music from a nearby club at night. The rooms are lauded for their cleanliness and comfort, though some visitors have noted that the air conditioning is lacking and certain amenities feel dated. Its central location is a draw for travelers seeking proximity to attractions and dining, despite some noise and safety worries.
The hotel's value is often highlighted, with guests appreciating the reasonable rates and amenities like the rooftop pool and diverse breakfast options. Service is generally well-regarded, although there have been instances of slow response times.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spotless, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
A small suggestion would be to simplify the coffee maker in the rooms, as it was a bit challenging for three of us to figure out (2 rooms, four travelers). Additionally, adjusting the pool temperature (hotter temperature) would enhance the experience, especially considering Mexico City's cooler climate.
The TV, fridge, bathroom, and other room amenities were excellent. Be aware that early check-in might not always be available due to the hotel's busy nature, but the location more than makes up for it. Situated in a very safe neighborhood, the hotel is close to numerous restaurants, bars, and stores, and the Angel monument is within walking distance.
Overall, I highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning!

Room was comfortable and clean. Airconditioner worked well without issue. Bathroom was good but the shower would seep out as the floor isn't angled (learned later on that's really normal in Mexico). Regardless, hot water was abundant and I could control the strength of shower to limit seepage. Breakfast was complete with something for everyone. The business lounge was great for coffee and drinks whenever you need. Internet was strong. There's a foreign exchange in the lobby which was slightly more expensive but atleast it's secure. The hotel is near the red light district so can be a bit sketchy a few blocks down but the location is very central which lots of places in walking distance.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The strong ones: On the day of arrival, at reception, the staff was very friendly, in the room the beds are comfortable, it has light connections for charging devices, the amenities are sufficient, the television is a good size, the possibility of linking the applications through Chromecast is very useful. The pool temperature in the morning is very good, as is the water level in the swimming lane. The location is very useful for walking through the center and surrounding neighborhoods. Areas of opportunity: It would be important to maintain the pool during the day. The water on Saturday afternoon was already cloudy and the swim lane was so low on water that the propulsion for the countercurrent system was not working properly.

Staff are lovely, my partner lots his wallet around the pool area, lucky for us it was found by a cleaning lady who logged it as lost and found with reception, nothing was missing. We also had a slight issues with our room door not closing, we spoke with reception that morning on our way out to an activity and by the time we returned to our room it was fixed.
The location was lovely, lots of yummy food and fun bars near by, plus it's pretty central (walkable) to most activities.
With so much yummy food around I wouldn't recommend room service or orderings a drink poolside (keeping in mind the garden area of the pool area was under construction and the drinks had to come from downstairs) the drinks took an extremely long time to be prepared and deliver and they weren't tasty. We originally asked for Pina coladas and received margaritas, once we did get the Pina coladas they were extremely watered down and just not great.
If you like to sleep with Aircon, do note you might wake to a bloody nose or two as the Aircon in the room provides dry air.
With all that said the staff and location really made the stay enjoying.

I traveled from Peru, your hotel was recommended to me because of its very good location. I arrived very early on July 28, they very kindly received my things and told me That maybe at 12:30 they could have my room, which seemed perfect to me, we knew that check in is at 3:00 p.m. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and he wasn't there, so we waited until 3:00 p.m. This was where things went wrong, even though I asked and they confirmed what I asked. I explain: They asked me for my credit card and they charged me for the stay and when I asked why they charged it on the 28th and not, as is common, at the end of the stay they told me that this was the guarantee, I thought that they may have different procedures, Although they did not ask me if I would pay in cash or by card, as is normal, I was simply leaving the guarantee. The process of leaving my card as a guarantee gave me the peace of mind of being able to use the room service without problem, something I authorized my daughters to do on the night of the 29th, the day I went out with my wife to an engagement very close to the hotel. They asked and they brought them what they asked for, the truth was (20 dollars) and thus began one of the most horrible experiences that my entire family has had to go through, the receptionist named Ericka Maya after I left them the food, He started calling them every 10 minutes, asking them to pay and asking if we had already arrived to pay, something that seemed strange to me since we had left the card under warranty, to the point that they had to pick up the phones since it became an unbearable issue, I don't think it was worth putting two minors through that anguish or that bad time for 20 dollars, plus we were staying until July 31st. When we arrived I asked Miss Ericka Maya some questions about the breakfast and she told me that we had not left the card as guarantee, that we had only paid for the room and that I had to pay the 20 dollars since our access cards were blocked, it is saying we couldn't enter the room. Exaggerated reaction, when we complained to Miss Ericka Maya and asked for a higher-ranking person, she told us that she was the supervisor and called security. I have never seen from this person other than empathy and looking for a solution, understanding that the process of taking the guarantee of the card is in his hands, he is only looking for us to pay him the 20 dollars and that's it.

It was about 10 years between one visit and another, the truth is that I really like the hotel, two details I did not like completely and I think they could improve, when checking in, the person was not very clear about what I had contracted with booking, I asked for a room with a bed in the application and said that since the Reservation was by application told me that they gave me what there was, also did not tell me that I did not have breakfast although I had breakfast there the two days I was because I like it very much. When they took my bags to my room I tipped $50.00 and the buttons made a amazement face for the amount, I don't know if they have any minimum tip fee. The check out and my departure was phenomenal, I felt great and they kept my car and bags for a few more hours, because I went to the American embassy to process my wife's visa.

What I liked most was the cleanliness, the good treatment, very good service, the person looking after the rooms was very attentive. When I return to CDMX, I will stay at the same hotel again!
What they can improve is: The quality of the food, which I ate at the hotel and the food tasted bland, plus I felt that they necessarily wanted to add the 15% tip despite my displeasure with the quality of the breakfast ( lukewarm coffee, flavourless egg, the quesadilla with a very bad aunt rosa tortilla, beans not according to the dish, the potato is stuffed, there is a need to improve in the restaurant sector. On the other hand, my mini-refrigerator lacked maintenance, already That, the things it had in it, did not cool enough, the light in the room was not enough, there was a lack of more lighting with white light and not beige.

As a solo female traveler in her 50’s, comfortable beds, quality in-house restaurants, location, and phenomenal customer service is what makes all the difference in the world in an enjoyable vacation. But what really took my combo Catholic pilgrimage/ vacation to the highest next level was the tour guide. They provided me with gracious hospitality helping me with everything from researching Catholic Churches websites for mass times, coordinating excursions to the Floral Gardens, hot air balloons that fly over the pyramids, recommending the best restaurants and always close by to assist with ANYTHING I needed. Made my trip a priceless once in a lifetime experience.

Hotel it iself is decent. The concierge handling bags were great and attentive. The hotel reception staff were very rude and seeminlgly bothered by hotel guests making making requests (i.e. early check-in if available, asking for directions, asking for hours). I've never felt so much apathy at a hotel in Mexico City or anywhere in the world before.
We purchased the executive room package which was roughly $40 USD dollars more per room per night through the phone reservation service. The room is exactly the same room as all the other rooms when we arrived. The only difference is we were allowed access to the business/executive lounge where they served a light buffet breakfast and happy hour between 5pm-8pm (if I recall correctly). Breakfast was passable with some eggs, salsa, deli meat, and some sandwiches. Happy hour is rotating snack of sort (we had pizza one night and cream cheese sushi the other), with a limit of 2 alcoholic beverages per person. I think it's just poor value if you enjoy having breakfast and happy hour in the hotel, but it's really not worth the money especially if you upgraded thinking it'll be a nicer room/view.

Enjoyed our stay here. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were all very nice. Location was great. We like to walk so we were able to walk to Chapultepec Park as well as all the way to historic center. However, if you don’t like to walk then Uber as it was cheap. Our room had 2 double beds facing the back. It had lots of drawers and a closet for your clothes. Beds were very comfy. Room also had a coffee maker that only uses pods, small fridge, safe and iron. Got free small bottles of water. No kettle or tea. There is a pool on the rooftop. However, the pool is small and shallow. Don’t expect to do any kind of swimming. It does have nice sitting areas for you.
Also, FYI that this hotel is located near the gay clubs. Lots of places to have a good time!

Hello! In fact that happened to us too. We arrived early and room still wasn’t ready. They kept all luggage safely locked, gave us a receipt ticket and by 3pm room was ready for us and luggage taken upstairs! 👍🏻
Have not stayed in the Executive rooms, but the breakfast is amazing, its a buffet style breakfast. The whole hotel is quiet, you can not hear any noise from the street.
