Only good thing I could say about this hostel is purely location. Bar upstairs could be good but it's cold the now and they have no heaters. Beds are rock solid and if anyone in the room rolls over you hear it. Pillows are about 100 years old. Staff have zero intention of helping you. Laundry was done asked where... More

Located in the center of town. Close to the subway and bars/restaurants. The hostel has a good breakfast and really nice rooftop bar. It is a bit of an older hostel but the facilities are clean and it's a good place to meet people. Would definitely recommend!

Right on the middle of the centro historical. Price is fair, breakfast is good, had a good time at the roof terrace as well with a nice view. En plein centre du centre historique. Prix raisonnable, bon petit déjeuner et ambiance festive sur le toit avec une belle vue.

We only ate here, and so our review is based on food only in the ground floor restaurant. Menu is varied and seems healthy. Food is well presented. However, all food we ate was either over/under cooked, and was bland. Lacked all of the traditional Mexican flavours we have been used to in over four weeks in the country. We... More

You cannot get better location than the Hostel Mundo Joven Catedral. It's right downtown in the Zocalo area close to many of Mexico City's best attractions. The hostel itself is fairly well kept and has a great vibe. The rooftop bar is amazing (must have a drink or two up there) and the free walking tours provided are great. It's... More

Good fun hostel with great activities, large lockers and good free breakfast every morning as well as a good restaurant downstairs. Fun rooftop bar, guacamole night, great volunteers, awesome location right in the centre of town. I felt very safe here. They also have kitchen facilities and computers you can use for free.

The location could not be more convenient, right on the Zocalo with a taxi stand in front. But, the rooms -- and I had the best room with a private terrace -- offer no ventilation and get stiflingly hot at night. The noise from inside the facility is significant, and the noise coming from the busy street outside adds to... More

The hostel is very central, so I see the advantages of staying here. This hostel was the least comfortable among all the HI hostels I have stayed in. Our room windows opened to the courtyard and had no other ventilation. They have a bar on the rooftop and the patrons of the bar made a huge ruckus in the courtyard,... More

First, let me say that I am giving four stars in the context of this being a traveler's hostel. It is not four star hotel. It is a place with lots of bunk beds for backpackers to crash on the cheap while coming through the city. As such, my review is not aimed at people looking for a reasonably-priced hotel... More

This hostel has only one advantage. It's well located. Besides that, it has nothing else good. My room wasn't a shared one because I inteded to have some privace with my husband. However it had only a tiny window that opened to all other rooms. So we had to choose: privace or ventilation. The blanked was the worst I've ever... More
