I begin by the weak point. There is no atmosphere, I mean there is no a big living room where everyone can meet each other. However the room are very clean, the staff is very welcoming. It's not the cheapest for 1 night but if you book at least 3 nights it costs you 150 pesos with the best breakfast...

We really enjoyed this hostel in a few ways. Firstly, the location couldn't get any more central. Also the room were very large. There were a lot of stairs to get to the rooms and no elevator, the streets can be noisy through the night. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay. We would stay again!

It's right by the zocalo, in walking distance of all the major historical city sights. It was clean and airy. Only road on one of 4 nights. Really helpful staff. Though very unfriendly guests. Not much soul.

So this was my first time in Mexico and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Prices are really good, the installations are great, rooms spacious enough and comfy beds. If you stay in a room with "private bathroom" you'll get a big one with warm water. The hostel is located downtown, just a block away from the...

This is a great hostel in the best location possible right next to the main square. The dorm rooms are large, airy and have massive lockers. There's a decent sized kitchen and seating areas on different floors. The bathrooms are large and very clean. The only downsides are that it lacks a bit of atmosphere and the WIFI didn't work...

Given a big city I was expecting a big party hostel but this wasn't the case at MCH. With limited social space and thus interaction with other travellers it is a relatively quiet hostel...plus some use it as a cheap business hotel...although note that the city felt quiet anyhow. Rooms are a good size and each floor has either a...

My husband and I could not have been more please with our stay at Mexico City Hostel in August. The cleanliness was superior to any other hostel we have been guests at, the daily breakfasts (included with stay) were a lovely start to each morning and above all the service was outstanding. I speak Spanish and my husband does not,...

This hostel is in a great location and is modern and clean. Its just the kind of hostel where everyone sticks to themselves. The only common area is a TV room which is always on. If you want a bed for the night then mexico city hostel is perfect. But if you want to experience mexico more, there are plenty...

Stayed here in August 2014 for 3 nights. Didn't have a reservation and asked if I could see a room before committing but was told that would be possible due to security reasons. Asked if someone could accompany me and was told no as they were all busy, with three people behind the counter, one of which was answering my...

The location of this hostel couldn't be better. It's right in the city centre and very near a lot of the major sights. It's also close to the Zócalo metro stop. Positives: -The whole place is absolutely spotless and the rooms are a good size (we stayed here twice in the space of two weeks so were in two different...
