For the second time in three years, Hostel Don Nino provided for me a comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful city of Oaxaca. The cleaning staff were very professional, and even made my bed every morning. When it was hot at night in the dorm, the front desk staff were very prompt about coming upstairs and turning on...

Hostel was clean, secure, offered tours, good location, although kitchen utensils could be updated, perhaps some music, bean bags or hammocks up stairs ? Some encouragement for guests to mingle. On a negative note, we took a tour to the temples.... I highly recommend not doing this. As your day consists of 2 hours of a guided tour of the...

It's hard for me to write anything positive about my experience at this hostel. I'd like to share a few things that really stood out to me. 1. Unhelpful staff that could not get me a towel until 9 hours after my initial request; 2. Zero ambiance—nothing inviting whatsoever; 3. Internet speeds were maddening as it kept going in and...

Hello, we appreciate your feedback 1.About the towel we have problems with the laundry because one of ours machines were broken and that is why we were giving the towels late to our guests, we apologize for this. 2. We have 5 commons areas to ours guests, our hostel provided the facilities but the ambiance if made with our guests,...

This was a great hostel, had a little bit of a hotel vibe to it. My dorm bed was comfortable, it had a great rooftop terrace with useable kitchen and also other great communal areas with comfy couches and bean bags. Plenty of showers and always clean bathrooms. Breakfast was different most days and absolutely delicious- some traditional mexican food...

Dorms are comfortable with a fan when its hot and a blanket when its a bit chilly. Each bed has a light and power socket with lockers available. Not too many chill areas but they do have a couple TV rooms that are ok to hang out at as well as a pool table and Foosball. Breakfast is doable and...

The location is great and was convenient to the main first class bus station, a very short walk. Not far from the Zocalo and a very nice park is outside. So I think the location is great. It has some computers for use and some TV areas. It also has a good sized kitchen and terrace area. The women's dorm...

We came across this hostel randomly after another reservation had fallen through and were so happily surprised. What a great place! The location is great, walking distance to all the main plazas & restaurants and also near the bus station. The 4 bed dorm room was clean and comfy and very affordable. The bathrooms have multiple showers which is a...

The rooms were cleaned every day, the beds were comfy and breakfast great every day. But Oaxaca would not have been the experience it was without Miguel at reception. He made an effort to make sure we had something different to do every night and tried to get the hostel mingling on the rooftop terrace. From clubs, locals bars and...

A little pricey, but their free breakfast is actually really good. The wifi is fast, but cuts out from time to time. The staff is very friendly and the dorms are clean. This was the first hostel I stayed at on my trip and one of my favorites. I would recommend this hostel.

The hostel itself is really nice, it's clean and breakfast was good. It is also strategically located close to both the main bus terminal and the Zócalo. However, when I tried to book the room in person (I was staying at another hostel), I had been told the female dorm for 10 people was not available, and I was placed...
