This is a small boutique hotel, in a traditional colonial house, adapted to give a warm stay. Beautifully kept, perfectly restored. Rooms and the entire place are very clean. The staff makes you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious at the terraza restaurant, the waiter gave us great tips of places to visit around the city to get a real...

Los Pilares offers an exceptionally friendly, welcoming staff, very nice rooms, beautiful public areas and a very good restaurant. We stayed for a week in a main floor room with one king bed. The bed was wide but too short for my 6'3" husband, and looked as if a queen size mattress had been turned sideways to better fit the...

We arrived here late after a delayed flight. It was clean and comfortable and all the staff was helpful and hospitable. We had breakfast there the next morning that was tasty and headed on our way to Tlalixtac. We didn't get the opportunity to hang at the bar, but it looked lovely and well stocked. We would definitely stay here...

Loved this little hotel 4 blocks from central. Walls hand painted. Have to pay for breakfast but it was inexpensive and the menu is adequate. Staff were helpful. It is a reasonable walk to the market and other attractions but staff will help with transport of required. Traffic can be a problem in Oaxaca so allow 30 - 40 minutes...

Hotel "Los Pilares" is one of the best hotels, where I had a chance to stay. There was a great service, the staff was very hospital and attentative. The hotel is situated near to the centre of the city, next to the most beautiful cathedral which I have ever seen. My special greats to the owners of the hotel for...

I suspect every hotel in Oaxaca is noisy, and this was no exception. All rooms look out onto sometimes-noisy courtyard. Voices carry and people return late from dinner or the bar and then chat in the lounge...really noisy. Breakfast is expensive but decent...still, the rooms and ambience made for a very pleasant stay. Beautiful flowers, a gorgeous pool area...we already...

We recently stayed at Los Pilares for seven nights. We had breakfast every morning and a cocktail every evening on the lovely terrace. Our room was on the terrace level, so we would step out of our door onto the beautiful area filled with plants and flowers. (At first we thought it would be noisy staying next to the restaurant/...

There were huge fragrant lilies throughout the hotel which is as picturesque as the photos. Our room were very attractive with modern bath.
