I spent 10 days in this hotel in the last week of June. It's close to downtown. Excellent atmosphere if you're into Spanish colonial style or arquitecture. Beautiful gardents. There's a security box. I recommend it's usage and also a luggage bag with safety features. Three bottles of mezcal and a children's book were never found in my room when...

Hotel in great need of remodeling. Everything is dated, bathrooms, fixtures , colors ,air conditioning unit , swimming pool etc... but food and service is good , specially in the restaurant staff. You have decent wi fi reception over most of the property , but no internet connection most of the time . Not good for a business stay if...

Even if the hotel is nice, breakfast delicious, and location smart, Internet in this hotel is practically non-existent. I stayed there last year and front desk explained they had a problem and were working on it. I returned last week and was presented with exactly the same excuse. When I asked to clarify, they made up all sort of unbelievable...

This is a wonderful old 200-room hotel sprawling over several hectares within walking distance of downtown Oaxaca and the Colonial District. Great pool, excellent old-fashioned restaurant with older, experienced white-jacketed waiters and a splendid breakfast buffet. It's a favorite for local people doing "Quinceañeras" and business meetings. But we took a meeting to the hotel of some 60 people from...

For an extended family trip to Oaxaca this was the perfect option. Yes, there are problems. The wifi is only properly functional in the reception area (awful in the rooms) and they do sometimes feel slow and goof up on occasion (on Christmas Eve the person in charge of the linens left with the key, so they were never able...

I attended a conference at the Mision de Los Angeles early in November. I had a junior suite that was large clean and the bed was very firm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and, there were a lot of them. This is a large complex of two-storey buildings that surround a garden/pool area. I saw a number...

Beautiful place big rooms viewing gardens and aged trees, we had breakfast on the garden every morning, very enjoyable. The hotel is ten minutes away from the town, you can hear the birds . Montealban ruins are twenty minutes away by car , also the museum is a must go. Ivonne Hodara

We stayed at la mision de Los Angeles for five days while on vacation in Oaxaca. It is a beautiful hotel right near the top of the main street for walking in Oaxaca. As soon as we walked two blocks we were in the best part of town for seeing all the vitality and richness of Oaxaca. Excellent location. The...
