One of our favourite places we stayed in Mexico. The gardens are amazing and the rooms are nice. The staff helped to recommend things to do and were really helpful. The location is great and its easy to walk around Oaxaca. I would highly recommend staying here.

Las Golondrinas is a great little hotel option. It won't be for everyone, but it has a lot going for it. The hotel is VERY basic. Simple rooms. Bath & hand towels, but no wash cloths or bath mat. Beds are pretty firm, but not uncomfortable. Only one pillow/bed. Rooms are clean. No rugs, not much decoration. Lots and lots...

I was traveling alone and had to stay in three different rooms at this hotel. Each were outstanding. They were very clean, surrounded by beautiful gardens (see photo's) and managed by a great staff who were patient, friendly, caring of my time in Oaxaca and had a sense of humor. Loved it. My only suggestion for a better experience -...

We have been here two weeks, and love the hotel. The rooms surround a series of gardens. Even in January, plenty is flowering. It is wonderfully lush with potted plants, bougainvillea and climbing vines providing partial shade over the breakfast area. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of the zocalo, and close to many good restaurants on Garcia Vigil, Alcala...

We had an interior room (quiet)...we also went for the daily breakfast...YUM. Walking distance to Santo Domingo and their gardens as well as to the Museo Rufino Tamayo. The buses are right there so you can go to the Zocolo and the big market (Abasto). Will stay here again! LOVE the gardens and the hammocks!

My wife and I love everything about Hotel Golondrinas! Fabulous staff, nice king-size bed, pleasing colonial architecture and the courtyard for breakfast (costs extra but is well eorth it) is surrounded by buganvelia. And the reasonable price is high on my list. I've been staying here over the 15 years I've been coming to Oaxaca and it never lets me...

I came back to Mexico after almost six years of living abroad, and I decided to treat my parents with a holiday to Oaxaca. Since seeking for in the internet, I loved this hotel and I was not wrong. The location is not so central, but far enough to walk everywhere. We had a three-bed room, spacious and clean. My...

A five minute walk from Santo Domingo, about six to the Zocalo. During the day the street fronting the hotel is busy, but the inner court area of the hotel is quiet. At night the street is quiet. The rooms vary in size, all have fans, screened windows, private bath with hot water. Wi-fi in patio / courtyard area is...

We stayed here for one night. The staff was very accommodating and prepared our room expeditiously even though we arrived before noon. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of hot water. It was quiet. The WiFi worked well even in our room. Reading in bed was difficult due to the lack of good lighting. The courtyards around...

My wife and I stayed here from 10/11 to 13/11 2016. We reserved our room 2 1/2 months beforehand but were disappointed to have been given the worst room FF. Above reception and on a busy road, woken by screams at night and very noisy generally.
