Staff was super friendly and helpful. They spoke great English and provided amazing customer service! The breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from and was freshly cooked. The rooms are cozy and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is very clean and water bottles are provided in the room everyday. The location was also great! Next...

Hotel Florida, while not in a particularly attractive area of town, is an older style, simple, clean, mostly quiet hotel within easy walking distance to the main square (Zocalo) and markets. It is well run and very safe. The owners, who speak English, are helpful and the daily breakfast, which is included in the nightly price, is excellent. The room...

Hotel Florida is basic but just what we needed and very clean. The location is great, about 5 short blocks from the central square (Zócalo). It was quiet, the staff doesn't make any noise and we were lucky the other guests didn't either. The highlight is the breakfast which is a full breakfast à la carte with lots of Mexican traditional...

I have to travel to Oaxaca pretty frequently and I always stay here. The included breakfast at the attached cafe is really good, reception is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but comfortable. It's a nice walk to the main attractions but far enough so you don't have a lot of noise pollution. The wifi speed is great.

The hotel is simple, comfortable and homey. Hotel located few blocks from zocalo and market is on the way for foods and souvenir. Manager was very friendly and gave us helpful advise for returning to Mexico city. The hotel offers excellent Oaxaca style breakfast! I miss that taste already!

We stayed in Hotel Florida for three nights during our trip across Mexico. We couldn't be happier with our stay, although the hotel is simple it is very clean and has everything you need. The host Blanca, is simply amazing and made us feel at home the entire time, helping us with booking tours and information about the local area!...

Four of us stayed at Hotel Florida for a few nights whilst travelling across Mexico, and this was our favourite accommodation! Although no frills, the rooms were very clean (fresh towels, bottled water and cleaned every day) and comfortable. The service was excellent - Blanca who runs the hotel was a gem, she was full of knowledge of the local...

I just spent 7 days/nights at Hotel Florida and thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The rooms are basic but clean and nice size with large bathroom and plenty of hot water. WiFi is excellent throughout the hotel and is free. Nice rooftop terrace to relax and look over the city. It's a short walk to the Zócalo and very close to...

Hotel has basic clean rooms with private bathroom, we had a room upstairs towards the back end. Fine if you don't have noisy neighbours, had to politely ask another guest to turn TV down as we could hear everything at 1am. Manager was absolutely lovely and she made us feel extremely welcomed helping with loads of great information. Another big...

I picked Hotel Florida based on the other reviews, and I was not disappointed! We stayed for our first 2 days in Oaxaca, traveled to a few other cities, and then went back to Hotel Florida for the last 6 days of our trip. The hotel is very safe and secure. The staff is so friendly and helped us with...
