In a way I would love it to be my secret, but it really should be shared. It is such a gem in a wonderful location with an exceptional staff of Christina, Juan and Paula in the El Secreto House. They kept everything clean and comfortable, cared for me (since I previously injured myself) and fed me with such an...

El Secreto is a small (3 bedrooms) boutique B&B centrally located in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico on Reforma St., one of the main streets. The staff made wonderful breakfasts each morning for us. The entire interior space was updated and very modern. And they offered free unlimited phone calls back to the U.S. on the house phone. Oaxaca is...

We really enjoyed our one week stay at Il Secreto. It is clean and comfortable with very helpful service. The generous breakfasts were different each morning and very creatively presented. The friendly staff were always available to help with any needed information. We would only suggest that the owner offer larger soaps in the bathroom and clean or replace the...

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at El Secreto. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and each with a modern bath. The common areas were comfortable and the rooftop terrace was a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts that Christina made were delicious! The central location was close to several...

My stay in El Secreto, part of the Las Bugambilias hotel group on central Oaxaca, was a delight. Because it was low season the house with three guest rooms was particularly quiet. The staff was there every morning to greet me and make an amazing breakfast, the house was immaculate and very serene. They offered to help organize excursions but...

We loved El Secreto for its modern amenities, great rooftop terrace, amazing breakfasts with both creative and traditional takes on Oaxacan cooking, and the friendly staff. It's a wonderful, tucked-away retreat within walking distance of most of central Oaxaca's attractions and is located across the street from a botanical garden. There are only three rooms and we had the whole...

The location is perfect, everything is spotless clean and Cris, Paula and Juan were the best, they cooked amazing breakfast for us every single day. The roof terrace is also amazing! All three of the Bed and Breakfasts owned by the same owner of Casa de las Bugambilias (Casa de las Milagros and El Secreto) are the best B&B's in Oaxaca. The homes are beautiful and each bedroom in all of the 3 houses are lovely. The fresh, organic breakfasts are the best and the staff at each home are warm...
