My wife and I stayed in Azul Cielo for a couple of nights around Easter. Although our room was on the street side it was pretty calm, very clean and spacious. There are lots of common areas and it has a very relaxing garden. It is only about 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The staff are great, extremely...

I like Azul Cielo it has a nice, relaxed vibe and the staff are great and also all bilingual. The showers are AMAZING - reason to go here alone for a nice hot, strong shower. They also cook you breakfast, each morning something different. It wasn't as social as the last place I stayed. Walk to centro is 10-15 mins....

The hostel is full of common areas - couches, library, kitchen, garden, balcony... And most are in use at some point in the day. The atmosphere is super friendly without being noisy. Great place to meet other travelers. Most of the staff speaks English, all are friendly and informative. The guy who makes breakfast seems to just love cooking -...

My husband and I took a chance and stayed here even though it was slightly out of the way from the historic district, but I am so glad we did. The place is well kept and clean. It is very inviting and very well set up. The hostel has an easy entry way, opening into a hallway to the lobby...

A beautiful, well maintained, clean hostel....with even two handles in the showers, one for hot , one for cold.( A first for me)..and if someone doesn´t take a half hour shower in the morning ,there is plenty of hot water.....there is a well stocked kitchen, (cleaned every morning) the beds are firm and nice.....it is not a "Party Hostel", but...

Great hostel. Oaxaca is a fantastic laid back city and this place captivates that spirit. Nice and quiet location close to the city center with a breakfast (fruit!) served everyday. With a chill room, kitchen, balcony and bar for only two dorms the ratio of dorms versus communal space is as good as I have ever seen. Helpful and friendly...

I stayed in a private room at Azul Cielo. The private bathroom and double bed made this like a hotel stay as opposed to a hostel, which was great!! The hostel is bright and colourful, the staff are very helpful and the guests are super friendly, in fact they made my stay all the more enjoyable and memorable. Breakfast is...

The hostel is about a 10 min walk to the centre. Not as close as many of the other ones but nice to be away from the main tourist area. Nice common areas which make it very easy to meet other people. Very chilled atmosphere. Great breakfast. My bed was hard with the springs poking through and made a horrific...

This hostel is the perfect balance between lively and chilled. The garden right outside the dorms makes it easy to talk to new people and the open plan kitchen is great too. The rooms are super clean and the breakfasts are amazing - 3 courses! Would stay here again even if I wasn't on a budget.

I stayed here with a friend for three nights and we would have stayed longer if we could. This hostel has the perfect combination of social without being overwhelming or party party! The social spaces really bring everyone together and we had some of our best travelling chats with people from around the world sat in the garden. The kitchen...
