HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The rooms and grounds are beautiful. We really loved the historic architecture that was preserved, especially in the entrance and courtyard, which was so beautiful at night with the stained glass lanterns lit. The location is perfect - about a 5 minute walk to the zocalo and a 10 minute walk to Santo Domingo. Really friendly staff, good breakfast options,...

We went back to Casa de Sierra Azul for the second year in a row, and ten lovely days in Oaxaca. It couldn't possibly be more centrally located; we walked everywhere, except when we took day trips out of town... and came back to this quiet, charming, elegant hotel. The central courtyard is great for reading, having a drink, relaxing......

We stayed in room 2 and it was very nice, spacious and private. The breakfast was good and the location excellent. Friendly staff. I would comeback. It's a beautiful hotel. There is a very good restaurant for vegetarian and meat eaters alike on the same street, one block away, called Cabuche.

Our group of 6 travelers are staying now in this hotel and I can say it's the worst customer service during our 14-days trip in Mexico. 1. We booked the rooms through Booking.com and the hotel canceled the booking cause we've changed the names of the participants. Yeah, we are a company of friends and part of our group had...

The Good The Hotel is two blocks east from the Zocalo and easy walking to all the other sites. Across the street is the Museo Textil de Oaxaca which was very nice. The patio is very charming and a nice place just to hang out and enjoy the warm sun and fountain. We had a nice breakfast on the patio...

Two blocks from the Zocalo and close to the Mercado, this friendly, welcoming hotel has parking nearby plus a very good restaurant that serves all day long starting with breakfast. Our room was upstairs, large and the king size bed was most comfy. We travel with our dog and that made this place an easy choice although walking him on...

We absolutely loved this wonderful Casa in a beautifully restored 19th century mansion near the Zocalo. The patio is calm, beautiful and inviting, breakfast and dinners are served here. Rooms are large and beautiful, traditional rooms on the ground floor surround the patio, have tall ceilings and small windows, lovely and quiet but maybe a bit dark. New rooms on...
