Nice hotel, small but comfy, restaurant is awesome, near from downtown, friendly hosts. They have a pic of a pool but the hotel doesn't have one. The issue is when someone is talking you can hear the hole conversation inside your room. but is a small inconvenient. General the hotel is really nice, very clean.

This is my favorite hotel in Oaxaca. I come here often for my work and I stay here as often as they have room. It is small quaint, quiet and friendly with a lovely view from the terrace and a nice restaurant. They have a very nice breakfast with fabulous black beans flavored with avocado leaves. There is a small...

We spent three nights here at it was a perfect hotel to enjoy the best that Oaxaca has to offer. Great location, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, superb value, stunning views from the roof terrace, friendly staff - a beautiful hotel what we'd highly recommend.

We searched for a nice and not so expensive hotel for our visit to Oaxaca in Semana Santa. The pictures of Casa del Sotano were really nice and also the comments, so we decided to reserve here. It was abosuletely great! As we were going to arrive late we called and asked to keep our room and they did. We...

We stayed 6 nights here, and enjoyed our lovely room and the great location. We asked for an upstairs room in the back, with a balcony, and had #24 (the Santa Teresa room). Some rooms have windows only opening to the interior walkways along the courtyard, so those don’t have much privacy. We were happy with our choice of a...

My wife and I were delayed in Mexico City so we had to take the late Delta Flight to Oaxaca. We reserved a room on line at Casa Sotano and were pleased to find a clean, adequate room when we arrived. The room was not large with a regular sized double bed. An armoir provided space for hanging clothes and...

As our taxi pulled up outside I smiled at the vibrant orange exterior of this lovely hotel. It's decorated stylishly, is friendly and is conveniently located to explore this beautiful city on foot. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small but adequate and I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

This is a lovely boutique hotel, very clean and well maintained. Location-wise it's well situated, close enough to points of attraction but far enough away to maintain a peaceful setting. The rooms are small but functional, and again, cleanliness goes a long way in my book, so this place is really quite a gem - particularly for the money. I...

Very centrally located - easy walk to the Zocalo and also the restaurants near Domingo church. Room was lovely and beautifully decorated. Cleaned daily to a good standard. No wi-fi access in some of the rooms, including mine, although the reception was good in the common areas. It would cost a minimal amount to sort this out and it would...

My family stayed at this gem for 11 nights over the Christmas-New Year Holiday. The most hospitable, friendly, comfortable, safe, pristine accommodations you could ask for. I can not understand why this amazing place isn't in the guide books. It seems to always be filled up anyway- but must give them the full kudos they deserve!
