The breakfast is just horrible, they give us some old and hard bread all 7 days. Then they over charge us,then call 3 big guys to fight with us (3 women, a man and 2 kids) because we were not happy with them over charging us for more days and an extra room, that we never used. The owner has...

Our arrival was delayed 3 hours as the landing system at the airport was down ( not unusual) and we did not get to Los Arquitos until late. Our host, Juan, was welcoming and charming. Don't forget to request your bed size/arrangement when booking. The house is charming and impeccably decorated with local artisanal items. The breakfasts were simple Mexican...

We had the best stay at Casa Los Arquitos. It is a lovely, quiet setting in a historical area within walking distance of great restaurants and many significant features of the city. But best of all were our hosts Juan and Patricia. They are more than willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay there pleasant and memorable...

Put this on your place-to-visit list. Juan and Patricia (and Marta!) did everything possible to make our visit special and warm. Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable of Oaxaca, it was perfect in all aspects. Location, daily healthy breakfast, quiet and guidance as to local history and sites to visit made it a joy to stay and as difficult to leave. Juan...

A unique Oaxacan place to stay that is walking distance to everything in the center of Oaxaca city. The hosts are terrific and full of ideas and suggestions. There are great spaces to relax and read, greet the other guests or check on the wifi. The walk along the ancient viaduct is charming and a reminder of Oaxacan history.

We stayed in Casa Los Arquitos for the day of the Dead Celebrations in 2013. Juan and Patricia made us most welcome when we arrived and looked after us well throughout our stay. Los Arquitos is on a street leading from the heart of Colonio Centro to Xochimilco and is opposite the remains of the aqueduct which fed colonial city...

This place was an absolute gem, literally an oasis of tranquility and loveliness. You can tell from the moment that you walk in that it is well kept and looked after. The owner Juan and his wife clearly take pride in their accommodation. What I particularly enjoyed about my stay here was the following: Juan was a wonderful host and...

We stayed at Casa Los Arquitos from July 8 - July 15 and had a most wonderful time. As previous reviews state, this lovely B&B has many excellent qualities. First of all, it is located at the northern edge of the historic district--close enough to be a 10-15 walk to the zocalo but far enough away to be tranquil and...

Just got back from a two week visit to the fabulous city of Oaxaca. It's got amazing ancient history, culture, traditions, crafts and food (loved that black mole!). But one of the things that made our two weeks there so pleasant was our stay at a lovely B&B on the northern end of the historic center - Casa Los Arquitos....

From the moment that you walk in the door to Los Arquitos you can sense that this is a special place. Juan and Patricia are two of the nicest and genuinely sincere people that you will ever meet. They will bend over backwards to make your visit with them perfect. My girlfriend needed to see a doctor while she was...
