I can offer only superlatives about this delightful little hotel. Breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared daily. Tasty treats, fruit, coffee and tea are always available, as is free and speedy laundry service. The staff are friendly and helpful, and certainly speak more English than we do Spanish. Should we return to San Cristobal de Las Casas, we would definitely choose to stay in Casa Santa Lucia.

My wife and I stayed here for one week and we highly recommend it! We greatly enjoyed the service — thank you Frank, Freddy and Hector! And the housekeeping was outstanding! The breakfast each morning was delicious and the hotel is so charming that we are certain to return next time we Are In Chiapas!

We stayed for 3 nights . It was a great experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The decorations are so pretty, that I went shopping at a local market to find similar decor. The food was so tasty. Freddie was superb helping us at all times about sgreat restaurants and special shops . It is in a great location. . We hope to visit San Cristobal again, and stay at Santa Lucia. Do yourself a favor and book here.

And that's a difficult combo. Staff superb. Breakfast excellent. Rooms with local yet comfortable decor. Well located. Quiet. What's not to like? Well, if you are a fresh air fiend, then the lack of exterior windows and circulating fans made for a tad of stuffiness.

Use to be a week-end house of local high-end family, adapted to hotel. Each of the few rooms are decorated nicely and according to different Mexican styles, very comfortable and high-quality fabrics. It is very close to the heart of the city in a quiet streets crossing.
