Enjoyed a pleasant 4-night stay in the Hotel Santa Prisca. Room was basic but charming, spotless, and equipped with functional plumbing. Central courtyard provided a lovely place to lounge. Breakfasts in the restaurant were good. Hotel is centrally located but blessedly quiet. It seems very well-managed and well-maintained. Staff were all gracious and helpful.

Ideal location within 200 yards of Zocalo. Quaint hotel in a very quaint city. Hotel is old and basic, but well maintained and spotless. Staff are excellent and most speak good English. Great value for money.

This is a beautiful hotel walking distance to the main zocalo in Taxco. This hotel is beautifully decorated in Mexican culture and architecture. Extremely clean and run by a wonderful lady and her family. Very reasonably priced! What a wonderful find in this beautiful old town! Call or e-mail hotel for reservations.

Ok so again i was more than happy to stay in the hotel, as per normal all the staff are great and were helpful and friendly. As before rooms are a bit basic but hell, its cheep, clean, safe and great for the location. Some people say that is loud, well most of Taxco is at night, and weekends too....

I was on my first trip to Taxco, a single American female traveling alone. The layout of the hotel and its entrance was very secure and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else traveling solo. It was charming and quaint and the staff was very gracious. You can't beat the price ($30 USD). There is a fonda (restaurant) across...

Located on the Alarcón Plazuela, a small square 1 block away frome the main town square, it is ideal for exploration of the numerous silver shops, narrow alleys, and small restaurants in the center of Taxco. Your room either has a view to said square, or a small balcony with a view to the cliffs in the back of the...
