I stayed on the apartment side of this hotel for a week in June. The price was great and we had a room with a kitchen that had a few basic utensils. The room had 2 balconies, one in the bathroom and one small one off the bedroom. Bed was a little stiff but we spent most of time out...

I stopped in Hotel Casa Grande .slap bang in the centre of Taxco .comfortable room cable TV .toilet in room .great tarraza up top. There's a restaurant attached food a bit limited .but good balconies. Friendly staff. Well worth a stay .Taxco itself excellent.really lively town wandering around safe as houses.

The room was cheap and very clean and the terrace was awesome. Ask for a room on the top floor. When the bar/restaurant was open it was enjoyable. Breakfast was great, but they weren't open every day of the stay. I didn't find the hotel noisy, but I work in a hotel in the French Quarter in New Orleans.. The...

It really is difficult to get a good night's sleep in this hotel if you can't sleep through really loud rock music, but the hotel itself has a really nice historical feel to it that is quite charming, it's located very close to the Zocalo, which makes it very convenient. Rumor has it that Zapato and crew used the hotel...

This is worst hotel I have stayed in the world because I could not sleep at all. If you can sleep at ROCK MUSIC CONCERT HALL, you may stay here. But if not, you will have the bad image about Taxco and also you will not be able to sleep at this hotel. PLEASE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!

We selected this hotel from the Lonely Planet knowing that it might be noisy. As I was checking in I was asked if I would like to stay in an apartment at a much lower price than the hotel room. The apartment which is run by Casa Grande Hotel was excellent - very clean and quiet as it was above...

Like the last reviewer, we stayed in this without much research after the hotel we intended to stay in was closed, based on it being recommended by Lonely Planet. The room was noisy (loud music from nearby until 3am on a Thursday), but more to the point we woke up the next morning covered in bedbug bites - legs, arms...

Ok, so granted we booked this hotel with little research which is unlike me... (The lonely planet does recommend this in their budget section) honestly on arrival the room looked like a prison cell, and smelled like mould (the bathroom was covered in BLACK Mould)....needless To say it felt wrong from the beginning, and we obvoiusly should never have stayed,...

Stayed here for 2 nights in amazing Taxco and visited the silver markets. Stayed in the top floor of this pace overlooking a square. We knew it would be noisy as there is a pizzaria below that does live music till 1-2 am and there are frequent weddings held here by locals on weekends. Nonetheless it was a great place...

First I was amazed! This is a budget place. The location is very good, the rooms are superclean, stylish, cozy, the hotel has a big terrace with a beautiful view, people were friendly, everything was just perfect. And all of that for a very good price! The big disappointment came in the morning. There was no hot water and Taxco...
