Me and my friends visited the hotel spring break 2006 in march. We read the reviews on this site and others and were hoping the best expecting the worst. We got there they were organized about it. We didnt like the first room we got but got to switch. There were no problems with this. The first room we got...

Three couples went together in March and we all had a great time at Dos Playos. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and everything was close at hand. The "hotel" consists of a series (about 7) 3 story buildings built on a small hillside with stone walkways between them. The beach, pool and restaurant are only...

Okay, my first glance at the Dos Playas made me think that I would NEVER again book a budget hotel. Give this place a chance. The room was really nice and the staff most helpful and kind. The 'resort' is rather hilly with many steps, so you will need to be in shape. I still am recovering from shin splints....

First I have to say that Cancun is so beautiful even with the damage surrounding the area. Ok here goes........ Dos Playas is not a luxury hotel but is nice. It is quiet and tranquil and there are no bugs no bad or mean people and the hot water pressure was great!!! No problems at all here as others stated...

2006- HOTEL Dos Playas did a bait and swith thing- When we arrived with out saying a thing they put us in a car to drive us to our rooms. The rear transport car doors were locked and we tried many times to open them. The lazy driver wouldn't and never left his seat to open them, nor did he...

We have just returned from two weeks at the Hotel Dos Playas. The hotel was wonderful; we expected the worse by the reviews that we had read. Once arriving and getting settled in our room (C9, facing the tennis courts) we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, our bed was a brand new king size box spring and mattress,...

Just got back from a stay here over xmas and new years. Still a fair bit of building work going on after the hurricane but thats to be expected. Not a bad hotel. The location is ok but you need to get a bus or taxi to town if you want to go clubbing although only one was open while...

We were a little worried in the wake of the hurricane that this place would be a dump. Originally, our group had booked at a different hotel which is still being renovated. This was a last minute booking but it turned out to be great. It's clean and the rooms are looking very nice since they're being redone. Floors were...
