Are you looking for a comfortable hotel close to Cancun Airport? Look no further! Hotel Villa Palmeras is the perfect choice for those who want to be near the airport for their next flight or who arrive late and need a nearby place to rest. Our hotel is just an 8-minute drive from the airport, making it a convenient option for those who need to be close to the airport. All of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning and cable TV to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In addition, our internet connection is excellent for those who need to stay connected for work or to enjoy social media. Do you enjoy good food at reasonable prices? Our restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. We recommend trying our most popular dishes, such as the Camarones Chiltepin or the Pollo Monteblanco, both exquisite options. Just keep in mind that the Camarones Chiltepin are spicy! But the best part of our hotel is our beautiful garden filled with majestic palm trees, green walls full of vegetation, and a beautiful pool with a jacuzzi. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy tranquility, and a peace that you will love. To make your arrival and departure from the hotel even easier, we have a special agreement with a transportation company for our guests. If booked with 24 hours in advance, the cost of the transfer from the airport to the hotel is approximately $30, while the transfer from the hotel to the airport costs around $25. This is an excellent option compared to the usual taxi prices, which can range from $45 to $60. Don't miss the opportunity to save money while enjoying your stay at our hotel! Don't wait any longer and book with us to have an unforgettable experience in Cancun!

very clean, staff were very helpful booking taxis etc, lovely powerful and warm showers, large rooms, nice pool and grounds and well as a free to use games room for entertainment. Food menu was limited but everything we had was delicious. wifi doesn’t reach the room so we had to sit in communal areas for wifi. location was very close to the airport but nothing near to buy water or snacks etc, 30 minute walk into the local town for street vendors and small corner shops.

Very nice, once you get in. No inviting reception. The whole compound is surrounded by 20 foot wall with electric fence on top of that. To get in, you need to buzz reception and then they will let you in the front door or if you have a car they will have to open the solid steel gate to let you in. Once in you have to get buzzed into the place. It is a nice place. Gabby was very helpful, breakfast was great. Very good place to sleep the night before if you need to catch your flight the next morning. Is very close to the airport. Be fore warned, if you do not have a car, it is too far to walk for anything. Didn’t like to pay $80 pesos for my beer when on the menu it said beer was $50 pesos.

The facilities and ambience is fabulous. The room, King Bed, A/c, lighting and bathrooms were comfortable and appropriate. The Lobby, foyer and common areas were tastefully decorated to give the ultimate feel of a classy Villa.
The breakfast was good and adequate. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Especially, Ernesto, Adrian, David and Michel.

Only drawback, in my opinion, is the location. There is nothing in the neighbourhood to shop, convenience stores, cafes or restaurants. One must have a car. Uber is nonexistent after 9 pm. If you go anywhere like Huayacan Avenue, you could be stuck for a ride back. We were in that situation where neither the restaurant or Villa Palmeras staff could help. We felt stranded! Luckily a restaurant patron was able to reach out to someone who sent a vehicle that got us back sn hour snd half later.

It’s a good price and location for a one night stay near the airport. Otherwise, there is not a restaurant or grocery nearby. The front desk could call a taxi, but I would only consider this location if you have a car or just need one night near the airport. The outdoor area was nice, but we couldn’t spend time outside because of the mosquitos.

We booked and prepaid a specific pool side room 2 months before our trip to Cancun. We were planning to stay for 2 nights. When we arrived (at night!!), this hotel had given our room to someone else and tried to stick us in a closet sized room somewhere in the back of the property with a view of an outside wall. They said it was all they had left. I can't imagine anyone wanting that small room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel given what they did to us. We found ourselves hunting for another hotel at night. Hint - If you need to stay near the airport, try the Courtyard Marriott Airport. It's the nicest Courtyard I've stayed in. It's pretty new, has a great restaurant, 24 hour room service, and a great pool.

We booked here as we wanted to wake up closer to the airport on our last day, we arrived around 12, we obviously knew our room wouldn’t be ready so we just sunbathed and had a swim, the pool definitely needs a bit of love, but the gardens are delightful as is the foyer with a beautiful indoor water feature. Reception were efficient but the hotel lacks service when it comes to trying to get a drink or order food, wasn’t really anyone around, although we did have a lovely young girl looking after us once we sat down to eat and she kept checking on us outside to see if we needed anything else. The menu is very limited and simple, but it was good honest food.

Our room was number 10, overlooking the balcony, I recommend rooms 5,7 or 8 I think if you want a balcony or a terrace.

Would definitely stay here again, upon arrival you may need to be buzzed in through the gate.

Villa Palmeras is an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the Cancun Airport area.
Secreted behind a wall it offers wonderful rooms and great staff. At present there is not a restaurant or bar but the continental breakfast was very good and a takeaway can be arranged.
Very good value for money and within easy reach of the airport.

Did not respond to multiple requests for a cancellation despite a clear cancellation policy that would have offered a refund. Fought us when we disputed the credit card charge. Beware that you will roll the dice on losing your money forever when you book!

Beautiful property. Exactly as the pictures. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and right portions. We booked this because we were getting in town at 11:00 p.m., and it was close to the airport. Also, they have a 24-hour check-in, and we wanted to avoid the American chains.
I definitely recommend staying here on your next visit.

The hotel has a special agreement with a transportation company to offer its guests lower prices for transfers from and to the airport. Normally, a taxi from the airport costs between 45 and 60 dollars, but with our agreement, guests will pay around 30 dollars for the trip from the airport to the hotel, and around 25 dollars for the journey from the hotel to the airport.

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. We didn’t get to the beach from here so I can’t answer that. Also we rented a car which was pretty cheap and drove to Akumal.
