This hotel is amazing!! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentlemen who offered us a drink right away and took our luggage. Check in was smooth and our luggage was taken to our room. The entertainment is amazing (especially in the day by the pool) we didn’t expect their to be any given some reviews but there defiantly is loads and it’s amazing! Abigail and Chocolate (also known as Antonio) are amazing. Music quiz, bingo, bracelet making and more! The food is good and the Sushi restaurant is the best Sushi I have ever had and that’s coming from someone who’s very fussy. The drink options are also great and not watered down. The rooms are lovely we had an Inspira Ocean View room. The facilities are just what you need and there’s a shop across the road for anything you may need. A special shout out to Javier, Toni, Raul, Sergio, Rodriguez & Bernai. The staff are what make this place even better and treat you so well. Where do I start. The staff at the hotel provide exception service and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to cancun. My room was thoroughly cleaned everyday, the staff were very patient with me (non spanish speaker), very friendly. I also wanted to thank Raul, who had the most friendliest smiles, he made the best drinks. I will definitely be retuning again, in the future

After reading all the positive reviews we wanted to check it out . Had lunch there on Thursday and we were very happy with the great food and service . Tiger shrimp dish , pear salad and Navios Cerbeche. Delicious . Shout out to Victor , Eduardo and Diego . Can't say enough about the great service provided by these gentlemen. I can't remember everyone's name but all the staff were incredible. Went back for dinner this evening and again was blown away by the service and the quality of the food and the presentation. Thanks to Gabriel and all the other staff for a wonderful dining experience.There was a young lady playing violin while we ate , her first night there . Beautiful music to enjoy while we ate . Hope she stays on , truly was enjoyable. Oh yeah , I should mention the sunset , what a wonderful evening . Had the mexican flank steak , shared a couple of desserts and had some really good specialty coffees to cap the evening off .Give it a try you won't regret it . Keep up the work . Great service at the hotel from the staff at oleo. Food is great and very varied so it never gets old. Everything is very clean at the hotel. Especially great service at the bar from Raul! The views and beach are gorgeous as well.

Spent 3 days at hotel Olea Cancun Playa mid Nov 2023. Overall it was good, I had a very small room without possibility to open the window, but the room was very clean and maintained well. Food was also good – you have a few options where to go for dinner. My favourite was buffet Azul rather than Almar or Hakka – it was fast and good for me!! The staff was great- very helpful !!Thank you guys. What I did not like - Noise – my room was in tower II (level 5) and the room was not well soundproofed - Sea access – during my stay there was a Red flag due to higher waves, the problem is that there are lots of rocks under the surface that are almost invisible, it could be quite dangerous and shoes will not help!! you have two options if this occurs: to stay at pool or go 300m where the access is much better - Dark - hotel is oriented to the sea but after 4:30pm the sun is gone behind the building therefore the sun cannot go through…

First time in Mexico and what a treat. Easy transfer to our hotel at Oleo where we were greeted and treated from the outset. All inclusive food and drinks. It's how you treat the staff working there that makes the difference. As they say, what goes around comes around. So mentioning a few names of very special people that made our holiday great fun and a well needed de-stress. 1st night at the bar:- Enrique and Eduardo... What a team and a great laugh. Watch out for the tequila 🙈🥃🥃... Then first day at the pool - swim up bar where we met Raul. ... What a man! Raul has been nothing but kind and thoughtful. He works very hard, looking out for everyone on the other side of the bar. Raul went on to look after us through most of our ten days at the resort. Right up until the end when we were nearly late for the transfer bus back to the airport...he was still looking after us, pouring a beer for the ..."one for the road" 🍻. We spent plenty of time on the beach, sand is beautiful, sea is warm and the waves are great fun. So relaxing (bring sunscreen... As they say, Mexico has two seasons, hot and very hot).. We were looked after on the beach by Sergio - another hard working, great man, always checking in and noticing when our glasses were getting empty. We hardly had to ask for a drink - so kind and caring! Javier and Antonio also looked after us well 🍻 thank you. The restaurants - top waitresses lliana and Dulci were so kind, always smiling and topping up our coffe, remembering what we liked when we went in. Then it came to the sad time to check out - foyer staff were also amazing looking after us, facilitating late check out and letting us keep our wrist bands for the bar and restaurant. Very helpful as our flight was delayed. The resort itself is clean, safe and friendly. Well done to all the staff that make it that way and thanks for giving us a great holiday. We will be back. We have stayed at Óleo for the third time already and I can confirm that you get by far the best service there! The ocean view is amazing and they have a very nice pool bar.
