Worst hotel experience I have ever had. It started from the moment we arrived. We had booked a room with two beds and they associate was rude and not helpful at all. Manager was brought in and she was the same way, no solution was given took them three hours to give us the room. The staff is just not friendly at all, we were always an inconvenience when asking for something. I did noticed they treated Americans (White) better than other nationalities. I myself am Mexican American and I have never felt so discriminated as I did at this hotel. Tipping is not mandatory, I am a good tipper but after the customer service I received I decided to not tip as good. The room smelled damp and was humid, we would wake up with a cough and very dry nose. It was so dry that I had a bloody nose. The hallway to the room smelled like mold and was a strong smell. The restaurants we went to were okay nothing to brag about. The Hacienda restaurant was the worst. Went to get a table and was asked to tone it down as there were people having dinner. I do not know what the hostess thought we were there for. That comment ruin the dinner experience for us. Minutes later a mariachi band came in singing very beautiful but what happened with the noise not being loud? On the 15th at night they had dinner going on in observance of independence day and there was several tables open but was told we had to pay $75.00 USD to sit. I thought this was an all inclusive hotel. The buffet for dinner was the only good experience and five star treatment we received. That was from Ericka the manager for the evening. She made our dinner experience the best and was how I am used to be treated. She would check on us and ask if we needed anything. I was amazed at her customer service and would like to highlight that as that is what made my night. Alvaro the bartender in the lobby was also great and treated us with respect. Overall I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who is not white as you will feel the discrimination and feel out of place. They do say it's always your own people who treat you the worst. I paid for a five star experience but only got one stat experience. Please do your research before booking with them. Lastly be prepared for charges on your credit card after you leave the hotel happened to me and I never charged anything to the room.…

I was so afraid to stay at this resort after reading a lot of the reviews. But I am SO GLAD I went ahead and judged for myself. I would absolutely recommend this resort. It is beautiful, clean and there is plenty to do. Here is my breakdown: The Resort: Absolutely beautiful! The spa smell throughout is wonderful. Room: We had an ocean front room and it was absolutely delicious! The room was clean and we were very comfortable the 5 days we stayed. It was slightly damp but I think that's because we were directly in front of the ocean, it was doable though. Butler Service: I will absolutely do this again. It was worth it just to be able to relax and not think about anything. Our butler was Eduardo. We did have a shaky start but we were able to work through it and he was a perfect gentleman and was pertinent in our ability to relax and enjoy our stay. He even was kind enough to reach out a day after we left to see if we made it home safely. A very impressive touch, indeed. I also must give a shout out to Maria, the new head of the butlers. She is an absolute treasure and she cares about her job and her direct reports. We also got to hear from some of her employees and how they really appreciate her and Im not in the least bit surprised about that. She is perfect for her job, thats for sure. There was another butler we noticed, Rossana, even though she wasnt our butler, she was doing an excellent job from what we were witnessing. Food: The food isnt bad at all. Its normal food you would find at an AI. The Asian Restaurant was my favorite and blew me away! We ate breakfast at the restaurant for Diamond Club but preferred the buffet. The nachos we got on the beach were absolutely delicious as well. We got to attend the Diamond Club welcome dinner and the food was very good. We also did the Cloud 9 dinner and it was worth every single dime. The food was delicious, the steak melted in my mouth and the ambiance was a 10/10, the entire staff that hosted this dinner were absolutely fantastic and made the experience wonderful. The pizza was good, make you order it well done and thin and its chef kiss good. You will not go hungry at this resort. Drinks: Im not a big drinker but I got frozen strawberry margaritas which were delicious and red and white wine which were all delicious as well. My mother got cosmos and said they were the best shes ever had. Entertainment: The entertainment is TOP NOTCH. The Michael Jackson show, The Burlesque show and even the Queen show was fantastic. You know the people are talented when you only know one or two Queen songs but you stay the entire show because you're so mesmerized. Im sad I missed Salsa/Bachata night because we were leaving. Jesus was part of the vibe team and he stood out because I could tell he absolutely loves his job. His energy should be bottled up and sold! The entire entertainment team are talented and deserve all of the accolades. The Beach: We were on the Diamond Club side and it was an absolute dream. Martin, Ivan, Samara and Fernando made my experience above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of! The beach itself was absolutely beautiful and pristine. There was very little seaweed and the water was crystal blue and the sand wasnt the same sand I normally hate, it was soft as powder. The Spa: LORD HAVE MERCY. Its been a week and Im STILL thinking about my spa day! Morgan was my masseuse and she did her job WELL. The hydrotherapy was EVERYTHING as well. I wish I was rich so I could go back sooner but we are already planning to return next year for sure.…

We loved our stay here. This was our first trip to Mexico and we booked 10 nights as a 2nd honeymoon. We loved everything. Our room was 5th floor beach view and was fantastic. We ate at all the restaurants and we found the food and the service to be excellent in each. The buffet has enough variety to satisfy you all week and I especially enjoyed Jorge’s omelettes in the morning. We took full advantage of the shallow relaxation pool and the poolside staff are super attentive, we were never without drinks. The poolside BBQ was good too. We didn’t visit the rooftop area figuring that the reserve of those younger than ourselves. We prefer a walk along the beach at sunrise rather than party all night but honestly, this resort caters for both. We did have one or two minor issues. Our balcony door handle was close to coming off and the coffee and fridge weren’t automatically restocked but I reported the door handle to reception and it was fixed by the time we returned in the evening and similarly, I requested more coffee and fridge restock and they were duly restocked with no fuss. Entertainment in the evening was good. We enjoyed the Queen and Michael Jackson tributes. We hadn’t realised when we booked that Mexican Independence Day would fall within our stay. The Mexican party was fantastic and we felt privileged to be witness a celebration that clearly meant a lot to the staff and locals. Viva Mexico! We took a TUI trip to Chichen Itza which was an amazing day. Swimming in the cenote at Palomitas was an incredible experience and seeing some of the real Mexico was important to us. All in all we loved our stay here and will likely return. I’d offer a tip for potential bookers, give some thought to what time you eat. The restaurants can get very busy. Amazing resort and experience! Everything about this vacation was perfect. The staff catered to our every need, with a few notables providing above and beyond service. Big shout out to Steff, our personal diamond butler, who was there day and night making sure we had everything we needed. I really can’t express how grateful we were to have her make this an exceptional trip. I highly recommend Hunters Steakhouse, food and service with Isaac (our waiter) was amazing. The beaches are beautiful, and special thanks to Jesus who made sure our beach chairs were ready and clean every morning. He went above and beyond to find us the perfect spot on our beach days. The daily and nightly entertainment was top notch, with some great performances by the Fire Team, and the Michale Jackson experience. Also great job to the Vibe Team!
