The staff was extremely accommodating, and the hotel is very clean and in very good shape. On the down side, the refrigerator in the room is very small, there are no microwaves and only 1 of the 2 rooms we stayed in had a coffee maker in the room.
The bathrooms are very nice and our second room had both a bathtub and walk-in shower; the first still had the great walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. I'm always wary of walking barefoot on hotel carpets but the sheraton has ceramic tile floors that housekeeping disinfects and squeegees clean each day (see photo).
The closest stores or restaurants are about a 0.5 mile (1km) from here. That's only a 10 minute walk.
There was one dining room and though the food wasn't the lowest price around, the portions were big and excellently prepared. The shrimp cerviche appetizer was more than enough for 2, maybe 3. I had the most tender and delicious flank steak (TAPIQUEÑA) that I ever tasted in Mexico. Fantastic! Photo of the nachos I had for lunch. It took all I had to finish them. The kitchen will also prepare items not listed in the menu; we ordered spaghetti Alfredo one night. The chicken fingers were light and crispy but didn't have much flavor. The quesidias were a bit dry. The wait staff were the best!

The beds here are great, not too hard like most beds in Mexican hotels. The food in the hotel is really good too with decent prices and you can get room service for free. The staff is nice and accommodating. The rooftop pool is nice and relaxing with views of nature. The bathrooms are modern with good hot water and water pressure. The hotel was decorated nicely for Christmas with a tree and lights. The wifi, tv and air conditioning were great. The only down points were some little things like they don’t have laundry service and they wouldn’t recommend a place nearby that did, the gym did not have a functioning water dispenser, the elevators broke, the rooms are not very spacious, there weren’t sheets or towels in the room when we got there, the location doesn’t have many restaurants immediately around it, the service in the restaurant can be slow sometimes, our friends hotel room had a coffee machine in it while ours didn’t, etc. Would recommend if you are looking to save some money but still have some American style comfort.

Had an unexpected stay over in Mexico coming from an all inclusive resort and the Four Points Sheraton was very accommodating to us during this time. We we warmly greeted by the doorman (who continued to be helpful and a friendly face through our stay) and helped quickly by the front desk staff. We are all our meals over a 2 day stay here between the main restaurant and the sports bar. All the servers were very friendly and did everything possible to help out and quickly clear plates/offer more food. Our waiter this morning, Pedro, was very friendly and inspired me to write this glowing review. I would highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a nice clean be safe stay at a good value!

A ten minute cab ride to the hotel zone. Twenty minute walk to the closest market. In other words, it is an isolated from attraction. The breakfast at, “ the eatery” is amazing. The staff are helpful, we ordered a glass of wine via room service, it was well oxidized😝, without being asked to make right, they gave us a bottle at no charge. My disappointment is with Marriott online member service, prepaid five nights, our room had a view of a concrete wall instead of beautiful vistas on the other side of the hotel.

Hard working staff, clean neat and well organized hotel. The staff were soooo helpful and greeted us with a smile everytime!! Thank you sooo much for being so professional, friendly and for providing the best service. The restaurant waiters were on top of it and always delivered our food to our rooms speedy as possible.

corporate like hotel with basis facilities available, staff that checked us in was very helpful, rooms were clean, baby was sick so they provided extra towels, baby crib was available, they check temperature and provide hand sanitiser to everyone who enters the building and during breakfast, good size swimming pool for a small hotel overall good, there is also a gym, waking distance to supermarket although abit difficult to go to the mall with a pushchair
there is no rooms with bath, in booking.com room description says that all room have a bath. when questioned they said it is booking.com’s mistake as they have notify booking.com many times and the word bath still hasn’t been remove so do take note.
did not like breakfast, it’s very disorganised during the mornings. one morning we were allowed to help ourselves to the buffet and then another morning we were not allowed. but some customer got away with it. also due to communication barrier, since we are not able to see what’s in the buffet, it’s very difficult to describe what we wanted from the buffet. one morning I said to one of the staff if I could have sausage, bacon, and omelette, I received an omelette with bacon and sausage inside. anyways, spoke to the staff, he didn’t understand me nor try to rectify the mistake. he just went off with the omelette and I never got a new one lol there is one guy I think his name was gasper and he was super helpful and friendly and he probably is the main guy there and help solve any breakfast issues. he makes very good hot chocolate too

We had a long stay in Mexico (17 nights) because of Quarantine requirements when traveling from South America. It was a bit stressful to think about planning this visit with Covid and all. Ms. Sara Alvarado was an incredible resource. We communicated via email prior to the trip and she made everything super easy. During the stay, Ms Alvarado and the hotel staff were always going above and beyond. Everything they did made us feel safe. They were kind and helpful and very responsible as far as covid is concerned. This alone makes the hotel a great choice, but also they are centrally located with lots of places walking distance to eat and shop. Highly recommend.

I was impressed with this clean and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and most comfortable. The staff at reception were most helpful ensuring that our transfer to the airport had been arranged, having been let down by our transfer to the hotel. It was good of the hotel staff to spend considerable time negotiating with that transfer company. The breakfast was very enjoyable with good quality food. Eggs were promptly cooked to order.

We spent 2 nights in this centrally located hotel on a recent weekend trip to Cancun. Only 25mins (50usd by taxi) from the airport, it is easy to find. Friendly and efficient check in, with helpful staff. Spacious room, even with a dolce gusto coffee machine! Roof top pool is excellent, so is the gym. Breakfast also great, and included in our room rate. Breakfast staff were especially friendly. Highly recommended!

We chose this hotel for our first stay in Cancun mainly because it had Centro on it's name. It's not very centrally located to much. Firstly, above all, the staff makes up for this, the front desk were extremely helpful with information, taxis, and taking care of our suitcases. The restaurant, bar staff and housekeeping were equally helpful, friendly and genuinely warm people. However, we wish the hotel was located closer to the centrum to really give a 5 star. Nothing is walkable close to the hotel. First day we walked 20-30min walk in the hot sun with nothing interesting on the way to get to the centro where most of the hotel and shops were located. Once we got comfortable with the taxis, it was about 150 Mexican pesos to get to the hotel. To get to the beaches it was a fair price from the hotel of 300 pesos but expect to be price gauged on the way back, Taxi drivers want 600/700 pesos /37 USD on the way back. We got comfortable with catching buses by the end of our stay. Thank you to the staff, you really make up for the lack of center location for an otherwise excellent hotel.
