I stayed at this location on a recent trip to Mexico and could not be more satisfied with my stay. The Villas are located within a very short walk of Chichen Itza', the restaurant and bar overlook a beautiful pool area, and the hotel was very clean and accomodating. I left a very important personal letter at the Resort by...

We thought it was worthwhile staying near chichen itza so you can see the ruins early before the crowds. From the hotel it was 10 mins to the gate and we had the site almost to ourselves for the first hour. Later when coaches arrive it must be an unpleasant experience visiting the site. The hotel was quite quiet which...

We stayed one night at Villas Arqueologicas, which is really all you need if you just want to visit the Chichen Itza ruins. The hotel is a short walk from the site, and you go in through a side entrance, which is much less crowded than the main entrance. For a one night visit, the room was adequate- a clean...

Since my daughter and I did not want to take an all-day, RT bus tour to Chichen Itza from Playa del Carmen, we rented a car and stayed overnight at the Villas. I found the whole set-up to be quite charming and very convenient to the ruins, plus this is the most affordable hotel within walking distance to the rear...

We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the back entrance to Chichen Itza and it was in a great location for getting into the site early in the morning and also for the sound and light show. The rooms were fine, located around a courtyard with a pool and open sided restaurant. Our room had a small double...

This hotel is reasonably priced, compared to the other hotels on the same street, and its staff is well trained, probably because it used to be a Club Med. It lacks maintenance, but nothing serious enough to make your stay uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel to visit the Mayan temples of Chichen Itza, and we were not sorry to have chosen Villas Arqueologicas. The rooms are very nice and clean, the swimming pool refreshes you after a long day at the ruins, the restaurant does a good job - the only thing that did not work properly was wireless internet.

We were looking for a hotel close to the ruins at Chichen Itza but didn't want to spend a lot of money and this charming hotel is a very good choice. The ruins are only a five minute walk and our room was less than $100 USD per night. Hotel service was very good, the staff was pleasant, courteous and...

Accommodations were bright and efficient. Staff was always there w/ support and answers. It truly is a short walk to the ruins. Bus from Cancun was a breeze. It 'landed'' at the ruins and we'd not done our homework [asking the hotel in advance, the direction to walk] so we had a bit of a goat-rope and a taxi ride,...
