I spent a peaceful, enjoyable week at this hotel. It was outside of the downtown tourist area and incredibly relaxing and quiet. Still, it was close enough to walk pretty much anywhere for lunch or dinner. And the staff are incredibly helpful -- whether you need a taxi or want to rent a scooter or find the best place to...

Originally, we thought we'd stay three nights here (in the city) and three nights by the beach south of the city. However, we feel we would not be able to get as good value for money as we do here, and decided to stay. It's located in the southern part of the city and away from the restaurants and shops...

A small boutique hotel with a nice garden in the middle of the houses, a small pool and a palapa (thatched hut) where you can have your breakfast or drinks. The rooms were very nice with all the equipment you need. Each room also had a porch in front with chairs to relax and have a drink in the evening....

Had just two days left of a three week trip around Yucatan. Visited Cozumel for the diving. Villas El Encanto is near the centre of town maybe 10 minutes walk, however it is located in a quiet, affluent looking street. The grounds are very well maintained with beautiful plants and trees surrounding an immaculately clean swimming pool. There is a...

We had a ground floor appartment with a bedroom, small kitchen and living area. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with local style furnoture and decor. It was cool and shady with effieicnt air conditioning. The kitchen was small and reasonably well equipped. The sitting room was rather dominated by 2 single beds and I did suggest to the owner that...
