Very nice, basic resort. Pool was very nice and the swim up bar was great. The price was very good and the service was excellent. The covid testing was well run. My only complaint was that the rooms didn't have refrigerators. Very convenient for diving and was picked up right on the pier.

We choose Casa Del Mar as a Plan B due to COVID. They were very accommodating for a 20 or less day out dive trip for 17. We were offered an ocean view for a small increase which was lovely. Our rooms were clean and housekeeping kept our rooms in top shape. The front desk was always welcoming and happy to share greats spots for sites to see, restaurants, organic tequila tasting, and more. We had most of our meals in the resort restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and or appetizers. They were local, fresh, and tasty. My husband especially liked the ceviche. It was his go-to 5 of the 7 days for lunch. We also booked with the Scuba shop across the walkway. They were as well helpful, friendly, and ran a great operation. We felt safe and not concerned about any exposures. All locals wore masks, I believe they were very happy we were there. The only downfall is the boat ride to the reefs..usually 30-45 min. Although it did make for a nice suntan. I would recommend this resort and the Scuba operation and would happily return.…

We traveled here during Covid for a dive trip. Very safe with their Covid restrictions. We felt very safe. Masks always worn by staff. Staff were so friendly and amazing. Loved it there. Diving was great, dive staff also amazing and we had the same 3 staff members on boat all 5 days of diving. Hotel was clean and beautiful. I will definitely go back. We were the only group there for most of week.

Our stay was great! There were 9 in our group and the staff accommodated us at all meals and poolside too. We had great service and staff followed covid safety restrictions carefully. We were a little nervous to travel during this time but felt very safe at the resort. The diving was easily accessible by a short walk across the street to the dive shop and dive boat. Dive crew was excellent and same crew members for our week of diving, which helped limit our exposure too. We hope to make this an annual trip!

My wife and I have gone to Casa del Mar for the past 10 years. We always appreciate how the staff welcome us and are very responsive to our needs and questions. This year was special. We came in the middle of the COVID pandemic and everything was modified and slowed down to accommodate safety. We were both impressed by how the staff - and this is everyone for the front desk to housekeeping to restaurant staff was friendly, respectful and seemed to go out of their way to make us feel at home. Yes, the accommodations, the restaurant were all just fine as well. A final word on the grounds. It seems to me that Casa del Mar takes special care to curate its gardens that surround the resort and pool area. There are palms, philodendron climbing up the palms, coleus and more. You can stroll through the garden. If you do, you will likely meet up with one of the many iguanas that also finds this wonderful place hospitable.…
