Definitely a "dive" hotel. We had to walk up/down four flights of stairs with dive gear every day which was very inconvenient. The first night we had scalding hot water (no cold water at all) so couldn't shower and then once that was fixed, we...More
While billed as a three start hotel, Barracuda is showing its age with noisy ac, tiny fridges, worn furnishings and marginal plumbing. If you are a diver its conveniently located for pickup, but on return from your dive you will be greeted by relentless loud...More
I didn't stay at the Hotel Barracuda but did go there for a bit from the cruise ship. This hotel/bar is just south of the downtown tier and very walkable. It's across from a large grocery store and just north of Margaritaville. They have a...More

WOW guess I'll look elsewhere n sorry but you're mistaken. There are plenty of hotels, condos, apartments, n a lot of them offer hair dryers, full kitchens or kitchenettes, filtered water, free beach access n no problems making ur own drinks. One does NOT have to stay all inclusive for these items, all inclusive simply means ur food and drinks etc r included. Can cross the Barracuda hotel off my list easily enough especially when I've read it especially caters to cruise ship employees n offers nothing comparable to the condos next door.
