A great hotel on a budget. The rooms are nice and clean, beds are huge and comfortable. The aircon is good, has a nice pool and is in a really good central spot. Can't go wrong with this hotel. Would recommend anyone to stay here, great value for money.

This was our second time to stay in La Casona Real. My kids and I really enjoyed the hotel, it was in the city centre, within walking distance to the pier, the main square, restaurants, food markets. All the staff there were very friendly and courteous, the front desk staff was also very helpful. It is a small charming hotel...

This was the third time i stayed in La Casona Real and the third time i have thoroughly enjoyed it. This time they have teamed up with a littlle restaurant next door to offer a continental breakfast, which is the perfect amount of food to fuel you for a day of walking around the plaza del sol and going on...

Me and my wife, stay during the last week of June, and this hotel was recomended to us by other friends of mine who really enjoy diving as much as we do, when we arrived at the Hotel, that it looks like a MEXICAN HACIENDA, we didnt know what to expect, but let me tell you this, the staff was...

Out of two weeks tripping hotels across Mexico with my father I have to say this one had the worst experience. There was a weird septic like smell in room and the pool water was dirty with things floating in it and murky. Even signing in was a bad experience as the receptionist asked us for a reservation confirmation paper....

We stayed here for 2 weeks because our house was rented out. We liked the location, central in town and very near our favorite taqueria and a large supermarket. There were numerous small issues in our rooms, but nothing major. A bigger issue was the pool, which we'd hoped to use but which had no ladders or steps. The place...

The Hotel is being remodeled so I guess on my next stay is going to be even better, it has a real Mexican feeling to it and the people thee were very nice. If you want to feel in Miami go somewhere else, this place is the real thing if you want nice Mexican vacations with flavor and soul.

They have some kind of award from Tripadvisor on their reservation desk. I don't know where have they bought it, with this service and attitude you just don't win awards. Staff is unfriendly, hotel located in crossroads of two biggest streets on the island with poor soundproof, breakfast is a joke which you have to wait for 15 min in...

this is NOT a hostel, it is a real Mexican hotel. I reserved a room for $100US a night through hostel world and the rooms are only $45US if you show up. Our room did NOT have a hot water handle on the sink and the shower was either scalding hot or cold! no in between. I read somewhere that...

I just stayed here with my boyfriend for five nights. The hotel is far from the main area in relation to other hostels but saying that its only a ten minute walk. We were given a room upstairs, it smelt a bit damp but was nice and clean with cable tv. However the shower was either boiling hot or freezing...

“The Street view rooms are a Little noisy during the day (remenber you are in downtown),, but during the night are pleasantly quiet. The Pool view rooms are quieter during the day unless kids are playing outside. The food at the little restaurant is good and clean prepared, continental breakfast is unexpensive and dinner are mexican style, tacos, meat etc. also you can enter by the pool and/or by the Street, time of operation 8:00 am till 13:00 pm for Breakfast & Lunch then will be closed, open again at 18:00pm till 23:00pm for dinner”
