Clean but very noisy, the hotel staff does not care if you are sleeping at 8am, they yell between floors to each other and the sound echos due to the open area between sides of the buildings. its like an alley between rooms and its open all the way up. The hotel is in a great location but I would...

We've been visiting Isla Mujeres since 1988, stayiing at many hotels in town. We're happy to find Xbulu-Ha. It's is a gem, and feels like home. Very clean, affordable, convenient location, and the staff is the best. Returning again this year!

Came to this hotel after few nights in hotel Paseo Del Mar, which was expensive and not worth it at all, and hotel Xbulu-ha is chipper and a lot better. It's clean and has comfortable rooms, good atmosphere and the workers are very nice and kind.

I booked a week at Xbulu-Ha when I was escorting a couple of young women on a graduation trip this summer - they were staying at Cabanas Maria del Mar and I just needed to be nearby. I admit I was worried about staying at a budget hotel because I usually stay at 3 or 4-star properties when I vacation....

Our first few days in Mexico were spent in Hotel Xbulu-Ha, and it was an excellent choice! The staff and owner were very welcoming and accommodating. When the AC in the room we had booked wasn't working, the owner immediately relocated us to a suite, his only available room. It included a small eat-in kitchen, which turned out to be...

We stayed a couple of nights at Xbulu-Xa during our stay on the island and it was just perfect for us. Check-in was nice and easy especially as we had booked that morning and arrived a couple of hours later. The location of the hotel is very central on a quiet street but within walking distance of the Playa Norte...

This hotel offers very clean, well air-conditioned rooms for a very low price for its location, including free WiFi. No breakfast, but hey you step outside and 20 m to the left of the hotel's entrance, you get a strong coffee with home made cakes, such as brownies, banana cakes, carrot cakes, chocolate tart or cheese cake. 100 m from...

I travelled alone to Isla Mujeres and found this place to be great! Very reasonably priced, excellent proximity to the beach and the main square, nice and quiet at night and very clean and tidy. I didn't have much interaction with the front desk but found my way around easily enough. In room wifi was handy too!

We hit the island a couple times a year. After staying at multiple locations for the past 7 years that we've continued to travel down, the last 4 years have been spent here. We've traveled as a couple, family and with friends. Its a great place for all. Our family trust the entire staff 100%. We've even cooked breakfast there...

Good location, has A/C, price is reasonable, and it was clean. Basically if you are a budget traveler who are looking for a place to stay at night and get out and play during the day this hotel is a good option
