Third time to Isla, first time staying at Bucaneros. Centrally located and clean. Pleasant staff. Continental breakfast is very basic, provided each day and I never ate there. Had room 204. Anything above the first floor would be a hike for anyone with stair problems. Reasonably priced.

Several times to the island and first time at this hotel. I would go back tomorrow. Staff was awesome, so nice and polite. The guys at dinner are awesome. Food is cheap and pretty good. I felt we had to eat at the restaurant below the hotel at least once due to the good service. I did ask for chips...

This hotel has a great location - walking distance to all the food, drink, beaches, etc that you could want. Our room was extremely small (103) but was kept clean. I think all rooms are supposed to have a "mini-bar" or small fridge, but ours didn't have enough room to have one. Not even a chair. It includes a breakfast:...

Stayed 6 nights recently- Paid about $75 USD per night for triple occupancy. The Good: Yes, like everyone else says, it is clean. Could not be more centrally located on Hidalgo St. Maid service prompt. Price is right. The Bad: No pool, no room service, no frills, no extras, little character. The "continental breakfast" was VERY spartan with only toast,...

The hotel is located in the mere heart of the eclectic and active downtown in Isla Mujeres and yet a perfect place to rest, also at a very short walking distance from the Playa Norte (the most beautiful beach on the island). A very basic place to just rest, take a shower and a continental breakfast the next morning. The...

The hotel is clean and good located for a one week stay at the island. It's in the pedestrian area but we had a room to the other side so it was not loud at night. To the ( very crowded during Christmas) beautiful north beach you walk 3 minutes. We rent a golf car to see other parts of...

Our biggest concern in staying here was the noise along Av. Hidalgo. Our family of 4 (2 boys, 14 and 7) arrived a few days before Christmas and stayed a few days after; the last night we moved from Rm #201, looking out on Hidalgo, to Room #105, facing behind the hotel. We found both rooms very satisfactory, but having...

I was hesitant at first, thought it might be too far from beach, and too noisy, being right on main street in twon (Hildago). Was wrong on both accounts - 150 yards from beach and quiet at night past 11:00. Was great rolling out right in the middle of the action, surrounded by restaraunts and friendly people and merchants! Ok,...
