What a lovely three-night stay we had recently at Casa San Angel. We enjoyed a large quiet comfortable room with comfy bed, delicious meals at the Tala Cafe with Felipe, secure free parking and an up-front view of the Saturday night local entertainment of artisan booths with a stage with colorful dancers. This place is in a great location with very large rooms and great service. We were dialed into the hotel by Mexicachica.com which by the way is a great tour service. My wife and I were in Merida and Izamal for a week long cooking class to learn about Yucatan cooking. The hotel made for an even greater adventure. I...

We really enjoyed our 6 nights at this hotel. The location is very good. Turn right as you leave and you can walk up Paseo Montejo. Turn left and it's a short walk to Plaza Grande. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The restaurant has outstanding food and we enjoyed the opportunity to try local dishes that...

The location at the base of Meridas most fashionable street is perfect. This is a very nice place to stay. Only negative is the pool is very small and a bad angle to the sun. Having said that, this plase is great. Small and personal...extremely clean.

If your looking to find a Hotel that fit's the city this is the right spot. You are just about 100 feet from "Paseo de Montejo" and if you going to be there Saturday night you will find some classical food and music. Don't forget to take a picture with "Chelo" and "Soraya"
