We spent 3 nights in this gorgeous hotel in Merida. Colour scheme and ambience was delightful. Delicious breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. Walking distance to city centre end lots of bars and restaurants. Medio Mundo was a cool and calming oasis to return to at the end of hot busy days out. Well priced. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here one night. Definitely recommend getting a room with A/C otherwise unbearable but the pool area with the kitchen is so cute and colorful. I loved loved loved this place. It is in the center of Merida so you'll be at walking distance of everything. Definitely recommend staying here. The restaurant is vegan and the breakfast is included...

This hotel is 10 minutes walk from the city centre, which is very noisy and crazy, but this place is like a oasis. If you enter, you are like in another world. It is in an old colonial building, the rooms are very large, beds extra comfortable, everything is coloured, clean and nice. There is also a small pool and...

Very convenient to walk to the main plaza or Paseo Montejo. Safe neighborhood, friendly staff, comfortable beds and good food in the vegan-friendly restaurant. Our room faced an inner courtyard with a pretty garden and fountain. We had air conditioning, but it was a bit loud, so we had to turn it off eventually during the night. We did have...

This hotel was lovely and in particular would highlight the location, the garden and the staff. The Vegan breakfast was amazing! Best orange juice I've ever had! Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Wifi is terrible but you're in Mexico, deal with it.

This was one of the greatest stays in our round trip. The rooms are designed nicely, large and cool. The hotel offers a nice pool. Location in Merida is perfect. We had a vegan libanese dinner at the court yard, which was very tasty. Staff was incredible. Breakfast in the garden was a true treat. This great experience furthermore came...

Safe neighborhood, a few blocks from downtown. Beautiful inner courtyard with fountain gurgling. Very high ceilings, comfortable beds and clean room. The doors to your room are old hacienda style, with wooden Windows in them, which close with a hook and eye. Not the most secure feeling and there is certainly no seal, so if inconsiderate people talk in the...

I came to Merida two times during my trip because of the flight arrangements; at first I experienced Medio Mundo through Lo Que Hay restaurant - a vegan gem in the beautiful patio of the hotel. I was instantly enchanted with what I saw: imagine spending a day roaming the streets of Merida centro only to leave all the noise,...

[please note: same review for hotel & restaurant] Nearby the city center, Calle 55 is calm and quiet. A soft jingle of the bell will get you in the door where you are welcomed by kind staff and a tropical oasis. It is worth spending a few minutes to wander and appreciate the fine details of the century old establishment....

We stayed at Medio Mundo in January. Such a lovely hotel. They have a vegan restaurant with vegan meals and delicious breakfasts. I am not vegan, but we loved the breakfasts and the tapas. The hotel is old world style which we really appreciate. There are no elevators, but your bags can be brought up by the help. In order...
