This is family owned B&B style hotel. The hotel has 6 rooms. My family and I unfortunately got the worst room in this hotel. All other 5 rooms face the small pretty garden. Our room is the only one that's located in the center of the building. Because of this, our room has very poor natural lightening and ventilation. If...

This is a family owned/run hotel. The family is amazing, they spoke English which was wonderful for me and my daughter. The some was super, he provided directions and anything we needed. Abraham, who works in the evening was equally as helpful. They we are all very sweet and friendly, which is great when traveling with children. The room was...

This place was great! We woke up too early to enjoy the coffee and weren't there long enough to use the pool, but the owners were very nice. They gave us a map of the city and directed us to a wonderful Mayan restaurant. It's a little bit too far out from the center of town to walk, but we...

This is a great little quiet hotel with great staff who are so helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights, and found that it offered all that we needed. Comfortable beds, quiet relaxing room, swimming pool, and coffee & cookies to start the morning. Staff were helpful and friendly. Is a short bus ride from the central plaza of downtown,...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Nobel for a week in early January, the first week of a three month trip through southern Mexico. The highlight of our stay was our hosts and their staff, most of whom speak Spanish; however the two university student sons converse easily in English and Dad is fluent in French. Everyone was always...

His little boutique hotel is perfect. We arrived to a welcoming family who showed us our lovely room, and every question we had was answered with their fantastic. Knowledge of the area. The location is great with it being a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre, enabling you to walk through the lovely streets. We received tea and cookies...

I needed a hotel room in Mérida over New Year's Eve on short notice and found Casa Nobel...I'm very glad I did. For a simple guest house this was a lovely hotel. The facilities were both very clean and very well-maintained - nothing felt worn or run down, and the outdoor area with bright flowers was a cheerful place to...

Stayed one evening, partially because of the reviews I read on this site. My experience was a little different than other contributors. The room was clean (ish) with two beds, a single and a twin. The bedding has seen some hard service and there was a strange funk in the air. The breakfast consisted of a carafe of coffee which...

I chose this hotel based on price and location. I was in Merida for 4 nights. This hotel is only 2 years old and so you will find everything in working order, including internet and remote control A/C units in each room. Internet connection is by wireless only, so make sure you have the ability for wireless on your laptop....

We stayed at Casa Nobel for five nights. Our room overlooking the back garden was clean and comfortable and we especially appreciated the A/C. The family was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a hot breakfast two of the mornings. We got good advice about restaurants, museums, and transportation to Progreso. From Casa Nobel it’s an easy walk to downtown...
