The hotel is only one block from the centre of the historical district of Merida. We stayed in one of the original rooms of the old mission. Very spacious with high ceilings, a comfortable king bed and great breakfasts. The room was right next to the breakfast area so if you want to sleep in, ask for a room at...

Lovely, clean little hotel just a couple of blocks from the center. Our room was in the front and it was a bit noisy in the early mornings due to bus traffic and the staff setting up for breakfast but it wasn't that big a deal because we wanted to get out and explore anyway. If you want to sleep...

We enjoyed the location, in the historic district of Merida, the ambiance and the personal attention of the staff. Our room was quiet and roomy with A/C and a ceiling fan. Updated shower. Very nice and appreciated pool. Staff helped us with restaurant locations and money exchange locations. We felt safe throughout our visit there. We ordered a special dinner...

We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon in the Yucatan peninsula. We had the room right in the corner on the top floor where it was very peaceful, and outside the room from the corridor overlooked the pool in the middle of the hotel complex. The pool was perfect as the weather was around 38oC, kept clean by staff,...

Lovely hotel with historic atmosphere but clean and welcoming. Great location as close to main square. Seemed all rooms are away from the street so very quiet for a good nights sleep. Had a minor plumping problem that was addressed immediately and with no fuss. Good service at the bar, even though we ordered just a few minutes from closing...

We were looking for a small, quiet, quaint hotel close to the historic center of town. Mision de Fray Diego was the perfect place recommended by a local Meridian. We arrived after 10 pm and were greeted by friendly bilingual staff one of which promptly took our bags and escorted us to our room. The hotel is just two blocks...

A former monastery, named after Friar Diego, charming, moderately priced, spacious rooms, helpful staff and if you arrive by car, valet parking! Nice cosy swimming pool, breakfast OK, try the spanish ommelet!

It's a little nice hotel with an interior patio. The room was not very clean, had a lot of dust on the floor. the beds and pillows are awful, it's like you are sleeping in a rock. The food at the restaurant is good. Most of the staff is helpful and can help you to make your day trip reservations.

Excellent moderately priced hotel. We loved all the decor. The staff were all very helpful, can´t comment on the restaurant as we only had breakfast. we stayed in room 204, opposite the reception desk. Very spacious, good beds. Wifi reception not very good because of the thick walls. The only problem we found was that the air conditioner is directed...
