After coming from boutique hotels in Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende I was disappointed with this hotel. For an intercontinental I expected more. It needed a makeover.rooms were tired and bathroom amenities limited. No mini bar fridge either. The rooms are extremely noisy as they surround the pool and having shrieking children wake you at 7am. Also the long...

I stayed at this hotel during a business conference. Nice and extremely helpful staff at the front desk. I had trouble with the bathroom and very fast the front desk solved the issue. Though the hotel is a little dated, it is clean and the room is spacious. The beautiful construction and style send you to the past, like being...

We spent our first night in Mexico here. Although we would soon head out to less-visited areas, we appreciated the helpful service here. Valet parking was much appreciated as we did not have to try to worry about finding the right parking area in a city we did not yet know. The staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English....

Just stayed here during a business conference. Positives- extremely helpful staff at the front desk. I had trouble with the computer at the business center so they helped me print directly from the front desk. They were helpful with directions and advice. My shower was cold initially so they sent someone immediately to fix it. The room itself is spacious....

The location is great. The hotel is located within walking distance of the central sites. The staff was friendly. They have a small lobby bar. The break east was good. The room was adequate. The shower took awhile to get warm. The beds were adequate. The hotel is a little dated.

I stayed at this hotel on business for three nights. The hotel is beautiful, centrally located and within walking distance to Merida’s Zocalo. The front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Just across the street is an Oxxo convenience store, restaurants, two money exchanges, banks and an indoor mall which includes a Sanborns. My standard room was very beautiful,...

On the positive side, the single room I received was really large, comfortable, cleanly appointed and beautifully furnished. Everything was like new and in working order. The only negative about the room was a musty smell, most likely due to the general humidity of the area. The air conditioning worked great, though, and the amenities were fabulous. The staff also...

We stayed here for 8 days. Rooms were spacious, very clean. Mosses, at the front desk, was OUTSTANDING!! He was always very friendly and helpful. The guy who cleaned our room, Eric, was very good. As a bonus, he would make, various things . . . like swans, etc, using towels . . . such a special touch. The restaurants...

Location: The Hotel is located very close to the beautiful Paseo Montejo and within walking distance to Mérida's Zócalo (city central plaza), which locates it in a premium spot for a walking tour of this singular city. Also, free bus tours by the local tourist office pass nearby, making a great option. Carriages with horses? Also near. Rooms: Clean and...
