We stayed 4 nights. First they made an error with the rooms and my girlfriend and me had to be in a double single bed room. The staff was unfriendly and did not help with questions and needs. The rooms are small and not really clean. For a short stay it is cheep and okish but I would not recommend...

I stayed in the Victoria Hotel as a first choice because arrived very late to Merida, the attention was great, the hotel it´s at the end of paseo Montejo, they have a parking lot, small, clean rooms, nothing luxury, very economic option.

Hotel looks nice, the rooms are clean and have all the basics. Windows need sound proofing as i was woken up by what sounded like someone starting a nightclub at 0300. Located on a long historic road with lots of old classical buildings, other hotels, a few restaurants, couple of shops + a starbucks 5 mins away. About 45 min...

I really enjoyed the stay. Staff was wonderful, so helpful all the time. Close to everything and I felt safe walking to restaurants nearby. Great experience! Will stay there again. The breakfast service was exceptional.

The hotel is nice enough, the staff were polite and helpful, and the location is good. The restaurant is okay but not impressive. We only ate there once which was enough to decide not to eat there again. Room service on the other hand was good and prompt on the day we left. The jacuzzi in the room was slow...

I was happy to find a room in this hotel. The place looks great from outside and the location is very convenient. Easy to find a taxi or enjoy the view at night. And the price was good for my budget. They mentioned they have a Jacuzzi in the roof and that's when everything went bad. The Jacuzzi was so...

We thought we would try this place because we are a family of 4 and needed a suite which is hard to find in Merida. We made the reservation on Booking.com and somehow the fact that we had 2 kids was not relayed to the hotel. That's where it went wrong. The "suite" had only one bed so we had...

I picked this hotel to stay at for a wedding. The taxi driver couldn't drop me off outside due to there being a carnival all weekend (my bad luck). He dropped me "close" according to him. Cue 40 minutes of me walking around with my suitcase trying to get past carnival people to find my hotel. Asked many police and...

We chose this hotel because we were traveling with my 83 year-old mother-in-law. It was perfect for that purpose. She liked that it was fairly new and very tidy. She was quite content with the restaurant and felt very safe and cared for by the staff. All of those things are nice, but I like roughing it a bit more....

We cannot agree with the last 2 reviewers. Perhaps 5 stars is a little stretch, but it does not deserve such negative comments. We had choosen it based on the fabulous rating when we clicked on bookings-com. It had a fabulous rating there, which is also a little overdone. Perhaps the difference is that tripadvisor is more geared to the...
