We have just had the most wonderful stay at Casa Lecanda and would highly recommend this as a place to stay for those looking for a quiet high end small boutique hotel that feels more like a home than hotel. Exquisite decor and design and some of the best service in Mexico make this a must for the traveller looking...

The hotel - wow. The breakfasts -wow. The staff - triple wow. Location - excellent. I can't think of one negative thing. After 3 days we felt part of the family and were really sad to leave. There is a real "feel good" factor to this place - I LOVED it.

My husband and I stayed only three nights and wished we have had more time to enjoy the beautifully restored garden. the room was really clean and I loved the organic toiletries. The only negative things worth mentioning were the lack of a proper door between the room and bathroom and the fact that you have to order (and pay...

I loved this hotel. It is gorgeous and beautifully restored. I wished we had a longer stay because we didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the facilities. There is no onsite restaurant, and we were exhausted from a long travel day, so our host helped us order food from a nearby restaurant. It was very good. In the...

We took a garden suite which had a small terrace area with a table and chairs and the room was actually as per the website. We unplugged the coffee machine so that we could charge everything and found the bed very comfortable. Breakfast fruit etc. was freshly prepared for each guest and it was almost a shame to have to...

While we stayed at another hotel, on a recommendation we visited Casa Lecanda to view the courtyard and to have a cocktail. We're glad we did. When we arrived in the afternoon, the street was rather sleepy and benign. However, once we entered we were enamored with the cozy courtyard and pool. Marcelino, the bartender, welcomed us, and mixed the...

Casa Lecanda is a wonderful choice when in Merida and we would not hesitate to recommend it. The property itself is simply stunning with high quality finishes throughout. The staff are very friendly and readily available if needed, but privacy is always respected. We stayed in a suite as part of our first wedding anniversary holiday and this room was...

As you drive into Merida towards Casa Lecanda, you would not expect to find such an oasis from the city buzz nestled in a quiet street. Don't be fooled dilapidated buildings around. Truly a boutique hotel with charm and authenticity. The staff is attentive and Rafael's cocktails are amazing. Lucky for you, you are greeted by his famous tamarind Margarita...
